I heard they narrowed the field to Seaney, Tech, and Soper.

Good question Reality Check! I would think he cannot coach, but I don't know the laws governing coaching and administration employment.

I like Teck, but he needs to stay where he is for awhile longer. The Middle School has improved so much, why ruin a good thing!

Good luck to all of them!

Why are we concerned about Teck's coaching? I thought he wasn't a coach anymore, and hasn't been for years now. Wait!! Are you talking about how he can't keep his nose out of coaching, or coaching teams that aren't his, from the stands??? In that case, I wonder the same thing!

It's not like the old days, almost every parent of a player, or ex coach or those who think they know everything, try to always get a word in. WHen will the coaches just be able to coach without parents putting their two cents in. Now a days players talk back to their coaches, then go home and whine and then the parents retaliate!

Oh back to the main article, good luck to the 3 candidates! May the best and most experienced man win!

I dont think any one person has the district in trouble, the economy is not at its best and everyone is feeling it! I actually feel for whoever gets super, cause it is going to be a an impossible and daunting task. Strangely I do know all three men on one level or another, and think we will be lucky as a community to have any of these men. They are all outstanding people whether I agree with their every action or not!

why don't all you naysayers get off the fence and run for the school board or any another local boards and quit bashing the people who are elected to their respective positions and make the hard decisions. "WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER"

Sadly walleye, those who know more about what goes on in the district and what is needed in a Superintendent don't have the option to run for the school board.
I agree that those of you who are eligible to run for the board and do not, have no business complaining and judging. However, those who cannot run have every right to express thier opinion, especially when the board does not appear to be looking at the whole picture. It's just too bad they can't do it with real names attached for fear of losing thier job.
