I would have to agree. My husband ordered a tire from there to come in this week. Ordered it last Saturday and it was suppose to be in Wednesday morning. He dropped his bike off Tuesday night, came back Wednesday and the tire was sitting in the back room and the bike was in the front of the store, and the mechanic didn't even know that it was there to be fixed. He said he would have it done before he came to pick it up at 4pm on Thursday. Got there and the bike hadn't been touched, still in the same place. Mechanic said give me 30 minutes and I will have it done. Came back at 5pm, just had pulled it back. Mechanic said it would only take him 30 minutes and it would be done once again. Wasn't done till right at 6pm and then the mechanic lied to the manager and said that the tire didn't arrive until Thursday when it had been sitting in the back room since Wednesday afternoon, because he even showed it to my husband when he tried to pick it up then.

I have been dealing with this business for years now and can honestly say that I have always been treated fairly. I know from experience that you cant make everybody happy all the time. I agree that they are not the most professional people I've ever dealt with but again they have always been fair and honest with me. They do sell some cheaper bikes that may need work on them but you get what you pay for. Never had a problem with them so thats why I posted this. Just looked like they were getting a little to much negative feedback from the other post. They have been in business for about 15 years so they must be doing somthing right!

I have to agree as well. I have always taken both of my gixxers to these guys since they first moved to Smyrna & they have always been very fair to me. I will continue to do business with them...I'm actually about to go there now to look at another bike.:)

I have been trading motorcycles with Lakeview Cycles since 2006. I am 56 and a reentry rider after not riding since my youth. They have been very knowledgable in helping me learn about motorcycles in general. In that time I have traded with them and had maintenance on bikes ranging from classic triumphs to late model BMW's. Their prices are fair and when issues come up they bend over backwards to make things right. It is a shame that anyone can get on google and slander a business over something like a delay in getting a tire replaced. In short a great old school style shop. They have a diverse shop with good used bikes. They are used bikes and you need to know what to look for in purchasing and expect to spend a little to get things perfect.

There is no view of any lake at "Lakeview" Cycles. I was greatly disappointed to arrive at their establishment and be unable to see any body of water within view.

Hey Jethro,
Go on down to Lakeview cycles. Theyll do you right. Dumass! People in this region are dummer than the dirt they drag their knuckles on. Wish the military would send me back to Afghanistan. Who would go to this place after a story like that. Jethro, you're not smart enough to make this crap up.

Just have to say, I have talked to the folks at Lakeview about a Husqvarna WXE 250 I have and though they are not big on Husky's the mechanic talked to me for a good 1/2 hour on reinstalling the gears and shifter drum so i did it right. Fixing to get me a used bike and will be going down there. Seem like good folks.

What does a "lake view" have to do with anything. Were you dissapointed at'Stone Crest Medical' Center or "Lake Side" Apartments just down the road. Get a Job!
I have bought many bikes from them and they maynot be perfect, but I fidget a great price on each one of them. I also got a great buy on a motorcycle jacket much less than Sloan's Honda.

I have been buying from them since the late 90s... I have bought bikes from them on when they were on Murfreesboro Rd, Franklin, TN, and now in Smyrna, TN. Tommy runs a very good business and I have driven from Houston, TX all the way to Smyrna to buy my last two Sportbikes and 4 Wheeler from them. I have never had any issues and will continue to purchase from them. I have referred several friends to them from TN, AL, GA, and TX to purchase from them. All of my friends have been very happy with their purchases.
