This guys is the worst mechanic ive ever seen if you use him you are throwing your money away. He tore up my car and i had more things go wrong after he had it. after he "fixed" the transmission i had to have it fixed again a year later. He's either an Idiot or a CROOK!!! either way he doesnt deserve to have any customers.

Aleet rebuilt the transmission on my Mazda for a reasonable price, and he did it in a timely fashion. I checked with a few other shops, and Aleet was $ 500.00 lower than the next lowest estimate. Lynn was honest and I recommend his shop. It is easy to get ripped off with a transmission job, and I would get an estimate from Aleet before you make a final decision on your car.

Aleet has performed work on two vehicles of mine and currently a third. Prices and time frame have been reasonable. Their work comes with a guarantee. Mr. Lynn has been more than affable each and every time I have spoken with him.

I took my 2005 Grand Prix in to Aleet Transmission owned by Lynn Curley located on 207 Monroe St, Smyrna, TN on Mon. Oct. 24th. Aleet kept my car for 4 days. They only worked on it the last two day. I paid them $1639 in cash yet to find out that my car would not go over 50mph. It was only operating @ 50%. I drove it around town and it did fine because the speed limit was 40mph but when I got onto the highway my car had no pull after 40mph. On hills my car had nothing. I called Lynn that night an left a msg w no return call. So I called the next morning which was Sat. & he told me to bring it back on Monday. After keeping my car for 3 more days when I got it back on Wed. It was slipping in first gear. I checked the transmission fluid on Thurs and the chamber was EMPTY, Nothing, NADA. They did not put transmission fluid into it. REALLY! So I called them again. Then I dropped by. Because they did not fix my car correctly the first time I had to get a rental car a second time so I only felt it was fair for him to pay for my rental for 3 days. He did give me $100 on my rental but I still needed to be worked on a 3rd time because it was still slipping in first gear. Lynn told me to bring it by a 3rd time in which they kept my car for 4 days and DID NOT EVEN MOVE IT. At this point I'M FED UP! Either want a refund or a refund with car rental included those are our only 2 options in cash.

I LOVE this company. My 2002 Honda Odyssey transmission started slipping and after calling around all over Nashville I was BLESSED to find Aleet. The price was unbelievable and the service was Excellent.

We have had a few trucks in with Lynn for big jobs. He rebuilt our transmission on one and the rear end on another. He has done wonderful work for us and his prices are more than reasonable. I believe they are very fair and honest. We highly recommend Aleet for all repairs. Thank you Lynn!

I am sure this information from Mr Clint is correct. I have seen many complaints on this company, and have had many problems that this guy apparently does know how to fix. Go back to school Mr Aleet Transmission and try something new. Number one is being honest.

I feel sure any good comments that have been made are from friends and family Probably trying to help his integrity, and keep his business going. Stay away from this place There are many good transmission specialist in this area, but this is not one of them.

I've had my truck in there shop 3 times now. I've called and asked for lyynn around 15 times everytime the lady tells me he will call you today never dose. They rebuilt my transmission and within a month have had to take it back 3 times my truck has no gear no park no anything who rebuilds a tranny right and has those problems noone this place is not proving reliable or reputable. I have other things needed done to my truck witch I was going to allow this shop to do but unless my tranny comes back perfect they will loose me as a customer forever. Witch means thousands in loses for their business. I will post again when I get my truck back and let everyone know wether I rep this place or suggest staying away

this place will rip you off.if you need a transmission done just dont take it to aleet.they will price there work for less than you can get it fixed for, than take your money and not fix it.then lynn will tell you there is $500 worth of more work to do so beware.

I took my Venture van to Aleet Transmissions in Smyrna last week of December 2012, even though I read several bad reports here. Mr Transmission would not give me a price except that they would have to take it apart and go from there. Well I am disabled and don't have an open checkbook. I decided to go to Aleet. I am so glad I did. If I had paid attention to all of these bad comments here I would have missed out on the best service I have ever received at a repair shop. I spent some time in the little lobby and talked with a few customers and also watched other customers who came in. No one was treated badly, no customer was upset, and those I talked to said they swear by Aleet. All I have to say is I do not believe one word of the above postings due to my experience. I am not related, friends with, nor have any other relationship with Aleet Transmissions. I have been in business myself before and I remember some people trying to cheat businesses out of paying for services and some people can not be satisfied. I also know that no matter what you do some cars are lemons and always have trouble. I have been back to Aleet a couple of times at their request to check my transmission. There has been no problem. I would recommend Lynn and his crew. He did what he said he would do at the price he quoted.

I am not a personal friend or family member of his, just a customer who has received qaulity sevice for major repairs on my vehicle. If you look at a lot of the negative comments, you will also see that the many of these vehicles are junk to begin with. You cant polish a turd!
