Lebanon Mayor Philip Craighead, a former real estate developer, doesn't know the meaning of defeat when it comes to a plan he says will create a significant boost to attracting business, jobs and entertainment to the city.

Another bible park ordeal here I really want an ice rink here hasn't made any money anywhere else this company has set up but Phillip don't care at least his company will sub contract all the work so he makes a profit on the taxpayer dime putting in water and sewer lines for the property owners so if it don't fly the property value increase hell we can't even get our ditches cleaned out in my ward4 but who cares right!!

I think the best question to ask would be who originally owned that piece of property and why have two different city administrations sought to see it developed? Wouldn't take more than a trip to the register of deeds to find an answer.

And why did Phillip Craighead still push ahead for a vote after Mae Beavers and Mark Pody said that it was not the proper for the city to be involved in it???
And why did all council but Warmath and Jewell still vote for it???
And why has Phillip Craighead push a agenda that benifits developer's certan land owner's and real esate broker's???

nobody from Lebanon,or the state of Tennessee has the guts to call the mayors hand, the last city council did call his hand and the mayors supportes tried to discredit them. The sad part is no citizens spoke up for any of those council people. Now all we have is rubber stamps for the mayor. This is what we get, when we just stand around and watch.
