Former deputy in court on embezzlement case

Former sheriff's Industry Station deputy Joseph Dyer and his wife were ordered Tuesday to return to court in October in connection with an embezzlement case involving the city of La Puente.

How pathetic, that a law enforcement officer could be so crooked and get away for so long, stealing so much money, without anyone knowing. A little over a half a million dollars; ' wow' he sure must have been living high off the hog, in this case the city of La Puente.

He is a cop so he will get a slap on the wrist and get away with this. How amazing that the City of LP had no clue that this was going on, and the question is what exactly do council members of LP do other than to serve their own self interest. All those people at City Hall are a joke and they are no serous about improving LP.
