Barbara Boxer gets re-elected, Jerry Brown gets re-elected. It has been the policies of the democrats that have put this state on the road to bankrupcy. Stupid is as stupid does.

I seem to remember a republican in the whitehouse and one in the govenors mansion as well for the crash. stupid is not lending money to actual small businesses when they need it to help us with this recovery?!? republicans blocked that bill as well.

The more a State is populated by self absorbed, disconnected strangers who have given up the more apt it is to fail miserably.

California is unique.

Tuesday we proved that NOTHING is more intoxicating to a Calif. voter than the acrid stench of abject FAILURE.

It's just how we roll.

California has too many "Entitlement People" union workers, welfare receipients, naturalized citizens with agenda's to naturalize their whole families - to rock the boat. They like the way things are - we tax payers pay for their entitlements. It is gonna take a strong tax payer turnout to get any change in this liberal state or maybe when they realize you can't squeeze that much blood out of a tax payer without finally "knocking them off" and the blood money has dried up - maybe then they will get that this Country was intended to be a Republic not a Socialist Country. For all of you people living in other state's don't believe the stuff you read - not all Californian's agree with the current policies....

The Green Revolution is a joke - it's a nice dream but the reality is it has been brewing for over four years and no one but California has jumped on the bandwagon - we are gonna spend all this money - kill jobs (don't be fooled by that green job nonsense - they don't exist) and make ourselves green for what???? The rest of the world is not green - it's like dropping a tear in the ocean - it won't make one bit of difference but it will kill the rest of the California Economy....

From SDJoe - as posted in the Pasadena Star News under the same title as THIS article:

"Republithugs"
"Thomas Jefferson's Feral Children" (Libertarians)
"Pointy-Headed Taxpayers" (after Prop. 13 passed)
"Heartless" and "Uncharitable" (when speaking of the "plight" of illegal aliens)

These are the labels that are attributed to anyone who doesn't share the "ideals" and "intelligence" of the smug and arrogant socialists and their unionized sheep.

You've won, rectal orifices. The State of California will be no more in less than a generation. After you all bury governor moonbeam amidst accolades and mutual-mast*rbatory backpatting, you'll still be in denial as to why the once-4th largest economy on the planet became a 4th-world slum in under 50 years.

Enjoy the fruits of your collectivist dream, gubmint "workers" - there certainly won't be any farms left when the last businesses are chased out by your green regulators.

Hope I didn't jump your toes, Joe - this was too good to leave on a lesser page. Thanks for your post.

Tuesday, voters proved that Californians think of our State like Vultures think of Road Kill. Now the Unions have the POWER to Strip the State clean and strip the Taxpayers of all things of value, drive is into bankrupcty and leave the Carcass by the side of the Ocean to Rot

That is the definition of a "progressives" Dream come true.

This state will become the land of the working that are taxed to death to pay for those that do not want to work. That will lead to those that pay the higher taxes to leave which then leave no one here to pay the taxes. The exodus has been going on for the past few years with people leaving for other states.

Here is a novel concept, balance the budget whereby the expenditures do not exceed the revenue. If I have to do it for my household why can't the state do the same? Additionally, when you cut an increase from 5% to 3% that is not the definition of cutting spending. Cutting spending is if X was spent last year this year it needs to X-10%.

"California the land of fruits and nuts" literally! In addition, it's the land of lots of illegal alien anchors who are now voting age and of course they are going to vote for the party that gives them FREEEEEEEEEbies and will never hold them accountable or expect them to take responsibility for all their stupid choices they make in life, i.e, producing several illigetimate babies with different men and collecting welfare for years. It's also the State with lots of egotistical wackos who actually believe that passing a commie law about global warming is ACTUALLY going to have an impact on reducing emissions when all the other States around us and the world are spewing tons and tons of emissions into the air every second. HAHAHAHAHAHHA - FLAKES, Wonder if the elitist wackso iin favor of this commie law are going to help all you flakes pay for your gasoline when is $9 buck a gallon and your utilitiy bills when they skyrocket hmmmmm?

We are one of the poorest states. We lag behind in education funding, services, businesses leave our state due to high taxes, yet, we feel we are entitled to more. Our DMV fees are among the highest in the nation, our state tax is among the highest. More handouts, more influx of illegals, more people to service. Born and raised in this state but we really have un educated voters. I am not saying vote red, but be educated! We continue to fail here on the way left coast.

California is going to go bankrupt. boxer talked like a conservative to win. Jerry had a lot of help from Gloria to ruin Meg. it's politics as usual. we had a tough talking, fake, conservative and got nowhere.i can't see a sustainable state with businesses leaving, high taxation, no accountability and social sevices. the ozone layer, global warming or now, climate change environmental ideals will make things worst for the few who are willing to pay for it(prop 23). after sales,DMV,property, gas and income taxes or "fee's"continue to go up yet, still have deficits and nothing to show for it, when is it enough(prop 25-27). call me what you like for pointing out the elephant in the room-unions, state workers, education, immigration and environmentalism. the golden state has turned afoul and democrats like it this way. if some have seen the county election map of the state, the state votes democrat in a few counties-LA, santa barbra and a few up north, the rest voted red. dose the rest of the state count?

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
