La Puente City sends out notices every so often notifying the residents that trash cans that can be seen from the sidewalk are against the ciry code Yet there is a trash bin on the 600 block of Willow Ave. that is overloaded with trash, garbage, you name it, it is located on far end of the drivway but believe me it sticks out like a sore thumb. I imagine the rats and possums overtaking the area anyday now. Calls to code enforcement are are useless.

Get used to it the Mexicans are treating that place like Mexico. Besides it gives the beaners something to eat while they are writing on your walls.

Didn't bother you when you were leeching off a resident who lives there. Do Mexicans Americans such as yourself fit your catagory?

Maybe, but when I moved here in 1956 La Puente was a beautiful city, we had Mexicans Blacks, Asians and God only knows how many more nationalities. We were all neighbors and looked out for each other. There was no trash until the mid 80's when I firsr noticed the grafitti, and it came fom a different element moving in. Complaints to ciy hall fell on deaf ears, and it has been so ever since then. La Puente can be cleaned up but we have to put the right people on ofice and get the cronies out.

I lived there for 20 years 1970-1990, wasnt so bad at first. It got worse and worse.GANGS, GANGS, GANGS. The police cant stop it, city officials cant either. Our government has to put its foot down and block the border. Its 80% of the Latinos that are wrecking that place. I love that area but I will not raise my kids there. Good luck to all the decent folks that live there.
