Gotta love Block's spunk. The guys a two-faced liar and a crook and knows that he will probably be elected anyway.

Let's hope you people wake up, smell the coffee and vote in a man who has so far shown us integrity and honesty when fighting for the average tax payer. That's you and me.

Come on New Mexico let's start holding our public representatives accountable.
The patronage system is on its way out!

"BAGHDAD — Iraq's government has an unusual money problem as much of the world grapples with a credit crunch — it can't spend its oil riches fast enough."

A little off topic but I think they need to hire $bill, he's an expert on spending money!!!

i think you all should lay off it seems like you all read the articles and point fingers only at Block but none of you would like the finger pointed back at you. You all make it suond like as though you all are PERFECT. As a reader I find that you all have not once tried to find positive in this young man. Not once has he or anyone else tried to find negaitive on rick lass. I give this man credit for trying and trying to keep his head up an positive attitude with all you people who look down on him. He's just like the rest of us just another person trying to make it in this crazy world. it's funny how this world only remembers the bad you do and never the good

Wake up and smell the coffee Angelica. The last time anyone posted to this strand was October 24. That is 8 days ago. Why do you bring it up again?

I am certainly not perfect, but I am also not running for an important public office. Jerome is not expected to be perfect, but being honest would help.

The story headline shoud have read "Jerome Block Jr.: Democrat's Run Dogged by Jerome Block". That would put the blame squarely where it belongs.

I agree with Pablo, why bring the thread bacu up with post. Seems like Angelica uses about as much sense as Jerome does. Jerome seems a bit too immature to be running for the office. He is just one mistake after another. I voted early, and did NOT vote for Jerome. I did not vote for Lass either, couldn't do it. Jerome is a bad accident waiting to happen if we elect him.

I hope people have the common sense to vote for Rick Lass in this race. Rick is a smart, honest candidate for this job, and has integrity.
Every time I have read a posting defending Block it sounds like a whine from people with pretty big chips on their shoulder. They sound like this man's mother defending her son on the playground instead of in a highly responsible elected position where you need to communicate with people and where you have the responsibility to keep up with a myriad of serious issues. The lies, misreporting of funds, scheming, and the whining all point to a disastrous candidate. Mr. Block is also scornful of Mr. Lass as well as the Green Party, which he childishly refuses to capitalize in his missives and dismisses, although we represent thousands of voters in this state. Unfortunately Block may just squeak by though due to the worship of the party system and voter laziness in filling in circles.

This is a serious job and these commissioners' votes affect ALL of us in NM, not just this district. This is the 21st century and the backward patronage system needs to evolve! One more voting cycle like this and '06's and we'll have a majority of commissioners who have refused to face the majority of voters with their ideas and values, and then I'd really worry about our energy, insurance, and telecom rates!

Voters please wake up and do some research before you cast your vote in this race!! Lass really is the better candidate & it's not him alone who is boasting this!
