I don't understand why the case is listed as closed if the perpetrator has not been apprehended. Does the message on the wall not rise to the level of hate crime? If the key was used, were there no fingerprints there or on the door handle? And why haven't the SoS and the AG decided on whether to pursue the case on Jerome's admitted misuse of public financing funds?

This article raises lots of questions.

I beleive John, it is probable that the perp is Block himself or a campaign aide. If Herrera and King do not do what is necessary to prosecute, we will never know. And, those inactions may lead to a Block victory which will result in continued inconsistancies (criminal activities). Voters in New Mexico have seen this all before, the question is do those voters want more of the same.

Eric Scott, why does he have your vote? BTW, according to the Secretary of States website, you are an inactive voter. Therefore, will you be able to vote or is your comment a fib/lie?

Block said the laptop was where he left it and did not appear to be tampered with. A sticky note found on the laptop read,“ If anyone breaks in using the key under the mat don’t touch my laptop. But if you do turn on my laptop do not enter in my login information of J.BlockJR, password = ipeefreely. You shouldn’t have logged in but if you did, do not go to My Documents directory and do not look for a subdirectory called Campaign$Reports. Don’t, I repeat, do not right click and delete the excel file named MyCampaignExpenseReport2008.xl s. If you did all this stuff, and you shouldn’t have, please remember to empty the recycle bin on the desktop before you log off, oh and help yourself to a lollypop. Thank you”

Once again, Heckle & Jeckle, Jerome and Jonathan have managed to entertain us even further. Read the story in today's New Mexican. They are wording themselves very carefully, fearing to be caught in another lie. Their plan has backfired and could lead to some serious charges.
I hope the press does not let these two get away with any of these illegal shenanigans. It may look cute to them but, not to voters.
