Drinking water safety questions answered

SPRING VALLEY Lake County Special Districts issued an information notice Tuesday regarding the drinking water in Spring Valley.

personally-I know Lake County has a huge "cancer cluster" and it isn't just older retirees. The Ag run off and other contaminants from septic drainage of household toxins are not cleaned out of the water supply adequately. Testing, may or may not be done properly and and can be scheduled for maximum purity time, with the rest of the time the values would not be nearly as good. Even the "allowable" amount is too much. The cancer rate in this country has gone from 1/17 to 1/3.5 since WWII. Are we going to accept that? Is THAT progress??? At what price? Are we willing to die of this disease for someone's profit margin? That IS what it boils down to on the "bottom line".

I have kept my water and will do so, that is until the government calls it the peoples water.
