Why do we have to vilify people who have a big bank account?

Really, why are the rich blamed for so many social ills?“the rich don’t pay taxes”,“the rich just sit around in their big houses, eating lobster and drinking wine while the rest of us WORK for a living”, "the rich have politicians in their pocket" etc. etc.

Research shows that most of America’s millionaires EARNED and SAVED their money; most of them started out with nothing. What is so bad about that?

Yes, there are plenty of jack-asses in this world and some of them are rich, but all rich people aren’t jerks. Why do we slander all of the little old ladies and gentlemen who have achieved the American Dream?

No one NEEDS that much money.

If you've got a million dollars in the bank... you should be ashamed.

They are too many wrongs in this world... to not right what you can.

You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

You idiot!@ Anyone who has that kind of money (legally) is their's to do as they please. Where should the ashamed part come in? A person being INDIGENT because they're lazy and won't work is the one that should be ashamed. It's not the wealthy guy's fault he has no car, etc.
I'm guessing that your last sentence means that the wealthy should give their hard earned money to INDIGENS? BS!
Do you want everyone else in the world to be an INDIGENT like you???

Yes definately. I had to choose between making a point and calling hom out.

It's pretty clear by his comments that he would prefer our hard earned wealth and savings be confiscated to GIVE away to deadbeats and dopeheads. Let's just call that wealth redistribution.

I notice that, when referring to the needy, downtrodden, welfare recipient, the minorities, etc, you refer to them as lazy, worthless, won't work and many other slurs. Is this fare to put all people in the same basket. I believe this is unfair and I think people should rethink their position.

I believe you misunderstood. I was referring to lazy, worthless, deadbeat losers. If they are not lazy, worthless, deadbeat losers, then I am not referring to them. There are plenty of great people who happen to be in financial straights by no fault of their own. So, it's a condemnation of lazy losers, not poor people.

In addition, why are you slurring the minorities this way? I certainly did not mention it. There is not one single reference of race or minorities above yours. It seems that you stereotype minorities in a bad way. You should examine your attitudes.

Your opinion is valuable. Please register your name and keep posting.

the wealthy get a pass in life, not all of them earned it, some had it passed down, some just lucked into it. They get a pass because life is not difficult for them, they do not have to solve problems with out benefit of their wealth. That in turn causes the wealthy to view their position as privileged, as worthy of special treatment, and that in turn causes them to disdain and look down upon the "common" man. That is what is wrong with the wealthy. Not that they have more, but that they believe themselves entitled to it, to the facilitated passage that wealth provides, and that their view of the world, it's problems, and those without wealth are less worthy they.
