Wendy McPink Tennies (otherwise known to the lemmings as Wendy Davis) has officially announced her run for governor of Texas. Because she wore a catheter and an Escada coat, she has bottle-blonde blonde hair, and she LOOOOOVES late-term abortions and substandard abortion clinics, she's TOTALLY qualified to be the Democrat candidate, y'all.

I agree completely with her stance on abortion. No child is a child until it's born. I don't care if it's past term at 40+ weeks, if the mother determines that it's an inconvenience, then it's time to terminate. It's a woman's right.

I would like to see the Castro guy from SanAntonio get in the race. The one who spoke at the Democratic convention. One thing for sure he would get the Hispanic vote so important for the Democratic Party. I would like to see the old conservative Democratic Party have a swing at solving our problems. Let's get away from Guns, Abortion and Hate deciding our politics.

Yes... the Democrats are doing such a wonderful job destroying our country... lets put more of them in power.

Imbeciles.

Great, then maybe car insurance for illegals should be the next thing. You're a frigging idiot.

Conservative Democrats governed Texas for many years and invested in our future. They were responsive to people's needs and invested wisely. The Republicans came along and sat on their hands and as long as they preached anti abortion and gun rights they were elected by the stupid rabble. It is time Texas became a little more progressive before our infrastructure goes to rack and ruin.

So... you advocate killing unborn children and giving up our guns.

Great.

Like I said, imbeciles.

I was very glad to see her take a stand against the entire Texas senate and vote against the bill that protected ranchers (SB 1163). She is not afraid to stand alone. Well, it was her and one other senator that voted against the bill, but you get my point. Ranchers are rich and don't need protection from thieves. There are much more pressing issues than ranching in Texas.

Damn... I don't think I've outright called anyone on this forum, "stupid"... but that post pretty much qualifies you.

I'm not saying it is not important however the overemphasis of these issues has distorted the sensible function of our government. When political parties are elected solely on the platform of abortion and guns, there are other areas which get left undone. How we utilize our water resources, how we improve our farm land and forests, how we protect our coastline, how about immigration reform, how do we improve education and job creation. These are some things that deserve to be priority over some of the highly publicized, more reactionary issues.

So... you think it's more important to reform immigration than to protect the lives of unborn children?

If they take our guns... this ball game is over.

Our banker elite controlled government would roll right over us.

One of the main deterrents to any invasion of the United States is its armed citizenry.

East Texas, what you are advocating would require thought, and those folks in Austin only function when using the KISS system.

There you go emphasizing the wrong things. Our government in the State of Texas has been elected on platforms that emphasize the wrong issues to the detriment of our future. It is imperative that people wake up and educate themselves and others as to what is the real important issues and vote.

Is that why the state of Texas is doing so much better than most other states?

Emphasizing the wrong issues?

Right, uh huh... I guess you won't be happy until we reform immigration and let enough "Democrats" cross the border so that you can have your way.
