I have a very nice kitty that needs a home.

I am not in a hurry to get rid of him and will not dump him or take him to the pound if I can not find a place for him... I've become quite attached to him.

He came to stay with me a few months ago, he was supposed to only be here for a couple weeks... that obviously fell through.

He was abandoned at a house in Baytown, the family just moved off and left him.

He has had the run of the house, I have a kitty door he has learned to use quite well... always in and out.

He was pretty skinny when he first came here but has put on weight, he eats all the time.

He is a very happy well adjusted kitty, very talkative, affectionate and purrs very easily.

He comes up while I am sleeping, sits down and lightly taps me on the cheek until I wake up... it's really quite funny to wake up with a cat tapping you on the face.

Lots of character.

He definitely needs to go to a cat person, someone who really loves cats and has time to give him the attention he wants.

Like I said, no hurry... my priority is to get him into a loving, caring, deserving home... a home in need of the blessing of an awesome orange tabby.

Yeah, I've come to really love that cat too.

He follows me around the yard like a dog.

I have to put him in my room and close the door before I walk anywhere or he'll follow me off.

He's a great cat, very friendly and affectionate.

I understand that he's been left behind by two families.

I don't understand how people can be so uncaring.

I'd love to keep him, but I am highly allergic.

Can't help but pick him up and pet him all the time still.

He figured out how to open my bedroom door about a month ago, so I put a couple door hooks on... he figured out if he jacks with those enough he can get through them too.

It's sounds just like someone is knocking.

I hear him when he finally gets it open, I feel him jump up on my bed, I sense him walk around and sit in front of my face.

Usually by that time I am doing everything I can to keep from laughing... because I know what is coming next.

He takes his paw and lightly taps me on the cheek as if to say,"Hey, wake up, hey wake up, I'm hungry!"

that's sweet. I have a black cat that stands on her back legs to be picked up, like a toddler. She's so sweet

This cat follows me everywhere.

I took my dog for a walk the other day... we crossed 146 and walked down to Fourth on Main and walked back.

Behind Shell, about five blocks from the house... I heard a cat howling like it was caught in something.

Suddenly he came bounding out of the tall grass and ran up to me.

I've got to be more careful when I go out walking.

As it turns out, he is actually a she.

She was brought to me as a male tabby, but alas no... I do not believe it is so.

I have heard that female cats make excellent trotline bait.

That's a horrible thing to say, even jokingly.

Everything living wants to continue to live, challenger.

Cats and Dogs are very intelligent, thinking, feeling creatures.

They have evolved with us... some are even in the very early stages of speech.

It's really quite interesting the effect of we are having on them.

Who knows, in another 500 years... we may be able to have simple conversations with our pets.

My dog talks to me... he makes me understand what he wants.

He communicates with me... he understands quite a bit of English.

I can tell by the different sounds he makes... exactly what he wants.

He tells me when he wants to go outside, he tells me when he is hungry, he tells me when he is bored and wants to go for a walk, he lets me know when he wants attention and all kinds of other things, he's a very vocal animal... all my dogs and cats always have been.

I've seen him thinking out and solving a problem right in front of me... these animals that we take for granted, they very much are little gifts from God.

In ALL things worship God, challenger!!!

In ALL things!!!

Because EVERYTHING you see, EVERYTHING you hear, EVERYTHING you touch, EVERYTHING you taste, EVERYTHING you experience in this life... it is ALL of God.

There is a lesson in every trial of life.

It was still funny, even if only in a dark sense of humor! I have a cat that I love very much, and I would never use him as "fish bait"!

I absolutely love this cat.

I've done everything I could not to get attached to it.

I can not help but pick her up and give her the attention she craves.

I just get miserably sicks afterwords for an hour or so.

I bought her a flea collar today, she was a little upset with it at first.

This is probably the second or third best cat I have ever known... and I've known a lot of cats.

She had such a horrible first year or so of life... but you'd never know it by her personality.

She is a little scared of loud noises, or sudden movements.

But she is all love.

She needs a good home.

Not just any home.

She needs a home with someone who loves cats... and can appreciate what a fine kitty she is.

She gets along with dogs GREAT!

My Big Dog and her are pretty tight.

She has shown no fear of friends dogs either.

cats stay on a trotline hook very well, if you use a very big hook and run it through both eyes.the reason the cat has always got his ass in HEAVY'S face is--is face looks and smells like his litter box.

H/F: Let me know if you don't have any luck in getting a home for your cat. I know of some agencies that would take your cat and get it placed, and they will not euthanize your cat for space or time. If you can send me the bio and a pic of the cat and I will forward it for you.

I don't want her put in a cage.

If I can't find her a good home, I'll just keep her and deal with being allergic.

Thanks though!
