Freddy Fender is a joke and the only thing he represents in San Benito is the corrupted and pot heads that live within the city. Here is a man that had several run ins with the law and was even arrested several times. He was a known drug user and even after his "success" he never really recognized San Benito as his home town. He only mention Corpus Christi as being his home. The City of San Benito looks to only credit the people that may be profit to the city. Yeah.. forget about the genuine heroes of this city. They are quick to build a memorial of Freddy Fender, but what about the Veterans Memorial. They at least stood for something pure and honest. They were the ones that died for there country, their community, their family and am sure that they proudly declared, if asked where they were from, that they were from San Benito Texas. The hell with Freddy Fender and the hell with those who supported this "memorial".

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
