The Power of Queen Susan Tripp over her Loyal La Mirada Subjects!!!

Wow Wow Wow - all I can say is wow.. the power that this one woman has... and how much she uses her office to coerce our Mayor and City Council..

It is with great reading enjoyment that citizens of La Mirda can follow her efficient use(ABUSE) of power.

By reading City Council mintues starting May 27,2008. She single-handedly pushed her nose and power into one area of the city administration- namely the Planning Commission.

One Family - The McCullochs- had recently remodeled their home and were finalizing their driveway and new garage designs. They were initially denied the plan check by Planning Staff - so they appealed to the Planning Commission as per the process and using documentation from their architect and their lawyer - they convinced the Planning Commission of their sound remodel and new driveway plans.

BUT WAIT - Here comes the Queen Bee- overrulled by the other members of the Planning Commission- she whines to the City Council within three weeks later according to the city plan minutes - and suprise suprise suprise - the McCullochs are denied their new driveway plan..

It is very scary to begin to learn how much power the Queen Bee*** has control over the City Council and the Mayor.

No real checks and balances - maybe it is time for La Mirada Citizens to wake up and plan a revolt and vote these guys out - wait a minute - we can't do that - they have a free pass until their retirement at age 50 - where we all will be paying our taxpayer money for.

What next our schools will close one by one and our City Council will stop it - Nope that discussion has already been made.

With all due respect, If you are refering to the City manager as the Queen Bee, please get your names in order.

Ms Tripp is one of the most Honest and respectable poeple in the city of La Mirada, at least you got the Queen part correct.

She IS NOT the city Manager in La Mirada. Please figure out the name of the City manager... I will give you a hint; her initials are A. T.

If you are going to Slander ("Abuse of Power"), at least give the correct names.

You would think that a Navy Chief would know better than to make acusations against the wrong person; or is that just a nickname?

As stated in my previous discussion topic - I have mistakenly placed my wrongful statements on Susan Tripp. I am wrong for doing this and did not think through completely what my point of view would be. I had just wanted to comment on the goings on at City Council meetings and I mixed up the names.

I am in the process of composing an apology letter to send out today to Susan Tripp. I am sorry for the inconvience and the misplaced blame. I hope everyone can forgive me.

But if the facts stated are correct, and Tripp did then go to her cronies on city council to overrule a Planning Commission decision, then Tripp did abuse her authority and needs to go back into the dog house where she came from. As far as being one of the most respectable people in LM, that's debatable. Many I know think she's an a$$.

As far a A.T., we all knew she needed to go and that the city needs to look outside for new city manager leadership.
