AYSO NATIONALS has reinstated Scott Monzingo as Regional Board Member for Region 22 La Mirada AYSO as Regional Commissioner.
He is removing Board Members for no reason - There are alot of GREAT VOLUNTEERS in this program and he is getting rid of them for his own personal reasons.
If you are involved with this program and would like to voice your OPINION........please do!!

It's too bad that one person is going to bring down this program. Our program is one of the best around and has gotten that way because of lots of GREAT voulnteers, working together with one goal in mind, the kids. It's never been about power with this group, I can't say the same thing anymore with the "new" RC. Good luck!! See you in La Habra!!

He's a big part of why I left, now they're trying to start another soccer league..? So they can split up the soccer community even more? I don't see any good coming from this.

There is a new league that is trying to start up in La Mirada www.lamiradasoccer.com . They are only here to let the kids play soccer if AYSO is unable to comply with the Citys requirements.

Is it true that AYSO region 22 will have to re-apply to the city for a field usage permit? is there a chance they might lose it?

Every sports organization, every season has to sign field usage agreements and need to meet ALL of the requirements listed. Yes, there is a possibility they may lose it, it all depends on if Region 22- la Mirada can meet all the requirements, specifically, the local control.

Right now the National group came in and put the former RC back in control with no Local vote or consideration. He, the RC, has also been given the "power", which is what he craves, to remove volunteers. Again with NO LOCAL say. This is exactly what the City was so concerned about a couple of months ago.

okay, now i'm starting to see the bigger picture. that's why another organization (la mirada soccer assoc.)is coming in to try to replace or at least compete with AYSO in splitting up volunteers, players, coaches....?? wow, i'm glad my kids play club...!

Yes, they have to meet all requirements of the CITY to have field usage. We should find out what's going on at the Atletic Council Meeting this comming Tuesday Night.

What's going to happen IF the new soccer league gets approved will ayso allow them to walk onto their fields and use their equipment ? I'm curious to see how that will unfold.
