I was on the AYSO Board for the last 4 years, I was Treasurer for the last 2 years and NO I was not stealing or doing drugs... and the 2 before me did not either but nice try...
When I went to the AC I wrote emails and spoke to the President directly. The same way I talked to Dwight directly about the problem of smoking at the fields.
You might need to find something else to do in your free time besides trying to start rumors about AYSO and reading the minutes of AC meetings...
I suggest you follow your own advice.... find something else to do rather than blow up an issue when ever you get bored. Some people love to have some type of controversy going on in their lives, or they are not happy... You seem to fit that mold.
Yes, you say you wrote to the AC and Dwight, did you give them 2 seconds to try and fix the issue? No you posted the issue on this blog and tried to set out a witch hunt for Dwight. Chill out, and give the volunteers a chance to react to your issuesÂ… before you make issues bigger than they need to be.

g-man- I did not start the topic of smoking here on the Blog, I just offered my opinion and the actions that I took to help resolve a problem that in reading this blog upsets more people than just me.

If you go back and read my posts you would see that I never started a "witch hunt" of Dwight. Actually I don't belive anyone did. The one thing we all seem to agree on is that Dwight is a great guy and and even GREATER volunteer.

You seem to think you know me and who I am, why not post your name? Stand by your post. Oh wait, it's more fun to call people out and then run and hide.

I'm gonna give LM PONY a try this coming winter ball and regular season. I hate the issues at LL. Dwight is a nice guy and so are many people we've met but.....

I figure if we don't like it, it's only a few months out of our life. Our son wants to try new things and the people there can't be any worse than LL.

no winter ball at LMBA this year. Perhaps you should look at what you can contribute to LMLL this year. Even better take a team.

You can sign up for WINTER BALL at the Fireworks stand at the Vons shopping center on valley view at Imperial Hwy.

Both LMBA and LMGSA will be having fall ball as normal.

All are welcome from 4 1/2 to 13

Please elaborate, on my 5 years on the Board I have only seen 2 or 3 Mangers not approved for a team. These would be managers that received numerous complaints from players and parents. This Board in no way "pushes" people out, the league is run by the players and parents, board members volunteer their time to fill the gaps.
If you are going to make an accusation please back it up with a few facts.

Are you refering to Pony? Yes, they did have an idiot manager the season before last, just ask around. Won't say what team, it would be too obvious.

Hmmm? I take it you're not with the PONY league? I checked their website and they are in fact conducting a winter ball season.

Ive been in this league for 10 years and this is my last year playing. I do not no what all this fuss is about smoking around us kids. we are old enough to no it is bad for us and we should stay away. but if someone wants to smoke let them. especially Dwight, how old is he? he doesnt have many years left in him . he should be at home every day but no instead he is down at beringer before any one gets there every day. Why does he do that? Because he loves the kids and the city, not because its his job. Dwight has taught me more stuff then any teenager can learn. i respect him with all my heart and we will all miss him when hes gone even if you do not like him you will miss him. This league will never be the same when he is gone and we all no that. So let the man smoke he deserves to smoke.
