Just because people are too stupid to ignore some lame ass bitch does not mean that people should be FINED for saying things that people don't like in public. The whole idea of 'free speech' is to strive to PROTECT peoples' right to say things that are RUDE, ABUSIVE, and that OTHERS DO NOT WANT TO HEAR. Typical, nice small talk that makes other people feel comfortable does not typically need to be 'protected'. This is an express violation of the constitution. Anyone who says this woman should be ticketed? As much as she probably deserves to be punched in the face, NO. Hey and guess what, I wouldn't want my kid hearing this either, but any time you go in a public place, you voluntarily take the risk. Don't bitch when a bad word gets uttered. The kids will have to learn some day, if you honestly think this will have a huge 'negative' influence on your kid, then you are not very confident in your parenting abilities.
We are supposed to live in a civilized society. Most of us don't go around using the F word in public places because we KNOW that it is rude and impolite to use it. She was talking like a piece of garbage and doing it in front of her child too! Call me a prude and I know the word exists and people use it and there is free speech and everything, but why do I have to listen to it?? They have freedom of speech, well where is my freedom of hearing??? People with half a brain in their heads refrain from using the Fword in public because they have respect for others around them. It's the same with bodily functions. I usually don't hear people farting out loud and burping out loud in a restaurant or in a store. It's called having a little class and this woman has NONE.

Alot of people in this country need to start standing up for our constitutional rights, before it is too late. So what o.m.g. she said the f-word. Well hell if you can't here it in public then don't turn on the t.v. In 1999 or there abouts, the United State Supreme Court unanimously voted into law, that any word that was published into a dictionary is legal to say those words in public and protected by the 5th ammendment. This law was passed due to a simmilar instance of a man in Missouri took this arguement all the way to the U.S.Supreme court and won it. You know it might not be right to say things like this, but this minor compaired to what is going on in this country today. I am so tired of people hiding behind a false face value, when the majority of you people are so hypocritcal about stuff like this, that it isn't even funny. So what she said the f-word you know what,I don't freakin care.I hate when people smoke or chew tobbaco next to me.I hate it when some moron gets in a vehicle after drinking alcohol or taken illegal or prescription narcotics. I hate murderers, rapist, child molesters and thieves. But what the hell you going to do about it? Nothing but whine. So my question is this. Do you want some cheese with that whine. I think this woman should exercise her constitutional rights and sue that fire chief's ass off. Oooooop's my god I said bad words. Geeeee I am exercising the 5th amendment here so kiss my a**.

Who decides what is PUBLIC? I cannot say -uck at the local Wal-mart, but what about Football games,Baseball games, concerts and yes the occasional rodeo (sigh...Texas) I have NEVER been to one of these without hearing this. Where's a Fire Marshall when you need one? Truth of the matter is this so called F.M. probably has teenage children who talk down to him. He cannot get in a word with them, so he took it out on some poor woman at the local Wal-mart. Maybe his kids will leave a few expletives on his tombstone. No one would deserve it more.....

Farting out loud? Your are kidding right? I can smell a fart, i can smell a burp....disgusting. I cannot smell a word. And besides FAR more people fart and burp in public than you give credit. The difference is when they get caught...they blame it on someone else. And who's gonna bring the handcuffs and the C.S.I kit to prove otherwise?

lmao so what if you disagree. It doesn't matter it is the truth. If you can't handle the truth then whoever judged my comment and not want to reply to it, well you are not worth the salt to be the judge of it. And to tell you the truth I could give a rats ass what you think because that fire chief violated that womans rights and he should be the one punnished for escallating the situation. If he hadn't approached her that way it wouldn't have gotten out of hand. And I tell you also if I was in her shoes I would have told him where to fly his kite and walked rite on out of that store and he could kiss my a**. So can you by the way. You can't handle the truth. I will exercise my rights and the 5th ammendment I realy do not give a crap who it might offend.

If it were a guy, with a beer belly and Peterbilt hat, there wouldn't have been a ticket.

She was ticketed because some bozo made it his business to make sure a mere woman knew her proper place.

This "ticket" is beyond stupid....it was a 'word'.. letters put together to form a sound...in English.
...How about a "ticket" for all those who either can't or won't speak English ?
I am 'insulted' to go into Walmart and hear words over the speaker NOT IN ENGLISH...and or asking a question to an "employee" who can't answer it because they make it known..they don't understand or speak English...
.....I was "threatened" by a Policeman..who came to the scene of a wreck...NOT caused by me...when I used some "four letter words" to 'express' how mad I was at the "idiot" who HIT my car...
.....He was more interested in 'telling' me to shut-up then dealing with the person who caused the wreck........What is wrong with that picture?...If you don't "get it"..I have some "four letter words" for YOU.

I don't care what kind of ignorant verbs or nouns you use in your personal home, but when you are in a public place...Have some kind of social morals and manners! Have some respect for others even if you don't have any respect for yourself and show the world what ignorant trash you are. If someone is so illiterate that they have to use vulgarity to express themselves, pick up a common dictionary (not one from the porn industry) and read from cover to cover.
She not only deserved the ticket, but should have had her mouth washed out with soap!

While I agree that we need to stand up for our rights, what about my right to take my kids in public? What about that 2 year olds rights? Oh, I forgot... children don't have rights!!!

Why don't you pick up a dictionary and read it for yourself. Because obviously you have no clue as to what is written in the pages of it do you!!!
What is going on with this case is not a question of if this woman was respectful or moral or whatever you want to call it. THE BOTTOM LINE IS
that fire marshal over stepped his boundaries and VIOLATED that womans CIVIL RIGHTS. It does not matter that you or anyone else disslikes what she says, SHE has the right to say it PERIOD!!!!!!!
Now for those of you who do not know what our, the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION READS then I suggest that each and everyone of you all go to the LIBRARY and check out a copy of it and read it. I HAVE BEEN STUDYING it for the last few years because I AM AN Activist for our CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES. WE reserve the right under the 5th AMMENDMENT to say anything as long as it is not RACIAL or DISCRIMINATING, PERIOD.
And for those of you who do not know this then go back to school and learn it because obviously you all are the ignorant ones that don't know your own rights as an AMERICAN. And you're comment that you made about this woman being illiterate, well how do you know that she is or not.You are being very presumptuous about someone you know nothing about. Ohhhh and I bet that when someone cuts you off in traffic or something, let me guess you don't get pissed and use the f-word or b-word or you s.o.b. either. And if you write in here and tell the world that you don't, I will bet you that you are a liar. So there you go, about keeping it at home. Your car is in public even if you have youre window up or down, and if you fly the bird it is just the same as if you mutter the f-word. I bet that all of you that disagree with this woman with what she said at Walmart, that lets see hmmmmmm you have never said anything like that before. LIAR'S all of you.

I'm glad someone stood up to her and asked her to stop. I've done it before and will do it again. I'm no saint, I cuss, but certainly not in public. There's just no excuse for using foul language in public...and the "F" word is one I find particulary offensive. We can get into the fine points of our freedom of speech, but the bottom line is people who cuss in public have no respect for themselves or those around them. It's a matter of decency and maturity to be able to curb your language in public, and apparently this woman is immature. I bet the first time her little two year old says "F**k" she'll him for cussing.

I am glad someone finally stood up to the foul response in public that we are all to often subjected to. Some would like to think we might want to expose our children to more mature responses under stress such as oh we need to go to another store or how about being prepared with batteries>

I never claimed to be a Saint! But unless you can read my lips while you are driving (with your head somewhere else besides your driving), that is still my private vehicle! I don't have a loud speaker blasting obscenities for the whole world to hear! No I do not flip anyone off! Ever!
This is a perfect example of those such as yourself that abuse the 5Th Amendment! That there should not be social morals or edicate in a public place. I suppose if this person would have walked into Wal-Mart naked, you would say they have the right to freedom of expression?
Public decency and consideration for others is a necessity in civilized society.
