We started going to Dr. Ellis when he first opened in League City. He is very professional and makes you feel at ease. He has a sense of humor and is very easy to talk with. We enjoy going to the dentist now.

I feel that Dr Ellis has sent dental care back to Medieval Times....Seems to have a lack of compassion for his patients....Lots of pain :(((...

He is weird, hard to talk to and he lets his dental assistants do work that only a dentist can and should do. Both my daughter and I thought he was rude and unprofessional. The only good thing about his practice is that he has the latest equipment.

I love Dr. Ellis! I think he is very easygoing and professional! I love his sense of humor and he makes you feel at ease!

I really don't know how Wanda James can make a comment about Dr. Ellis like that! He is a wonderful, caring, kind, man and dentist. Not only that - he is very up-to-date on all dental procedures! His staff is always knowledgeable and kind. His equipment is stae-of-the-art!!!! He doesn't try to get you do procedures that are not necessary. I have never been in pain - he makes sure of that and his work is quality! Shame on you Wanda for bad-mouthing this practice! I left a dentist (his neighbor behind him) that was just interested in the $$$$$. Dr. Ellis is much more professional than that - he puts his patients first!

REPLY: Dr. Ellis does all work that is required to be performed by a licensed dentist. His HIGHLY trained staff is specialized in the work that they perform...that is why he employs them! Rude? Dr. Ellis is always very kind and compassionate!! Maybe you and your daughter were having a bad day or maybe you two are hard to get along with????

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Dr. Ellis. I have always had a wonderful experience there and have felt that all staff members are kind and compassionate. I hope your next experience is a better one.

My family of 5 has seen Doctor Ellis for several years. My oldest went through braces with him and my youngest asks to go to the dentist at least once a week. When I ask why she wants to go, she simply says they are nice and fun. At 6 years old, her responses and honest and direct.
I am amazed that anyone would give this crew a negative comment. In my opinion, that negative is a reflection on the reviewer and not the doctor.

YES, HIS MAIN FOCUS SEEMS TO BE ON HIMSELF. HE IS IMPERSONAL, but seems like he a little not to be. HE SPEAKS RUDELY TO HIS STAFF. FRONT STAFF DOESN't give a care either

I saw Dr Ellis last year. Luckily for checkup and cleaning only, I read the review of how painful he was. He is impersonal and I didn't feel comfortable in the office period. I didn't like the way he spoke to his staff. It os easy to see that Dr Ellis is into himself. The front staff appeared confused, rushed and came off as rude. I never went back. They lost my trust in only one visit!!!

I am very disappointed with my visit to Dr. Ellis'. As a child I had my teeth sealed and have exceptional dental hygiene, yet when I went to Dr. Ellis' he informed me that I have 8 cavities and I am developing gum disease. The bill came to $600 out of my pocket and $1,400 from my insurance. I decided to check with a different dentist. I just left the other dentists office and there is not a trace of cavities or gum disease so I am forced to wonder what Dr. Ellis' motives were for informing me with this false information. My visit did nothing but cause extra, unnecessary stress in my day.
