My folks are in Austin with me and live on 14th Ave N behind the high school in TX City. Any word if there is power on in that area? Has the city said when residents may return to Texas City? Any info would be greatly appriciated.

My Son & Daughterinlaw live in San Leon. They stayed here during the storm, we live in Deer Park. Her Dad stayed, they have adjoining properties, he said there is lots of debris but their house was okay, still no power there. Sorry, that is all I know, hope it helps

Any word on the neighborhood just west of Godard Park? My aunt and uncle evacuated from 34th Ave. and are safe in Tyler (Laura and George, aka "Rosie"). Sure would appreciate any info as to flooding or any damages (or not).

Hey Jean Ann! Just heard from Bill that Harry's ok and had minimal damage to the house. It took a while but finally he was able to find a phone. I hope that you and your family are well- tell everyone hello. How funny to meet again like this!

My son said they were allowed to return to Texas City as of 9am Monday morning. Some friends returned yesterday morning and live at 13th Ave and 13th st...their house has a few shingles missing but no real damage. No electricity yet but there is electricity across the street from them...they aren't too far down from the school.
