At 8 tonight, some Houstonians will go dark to be green

There are 1 comment on the Houston Chronicle story from Mar 30, 2008, titled At 8 tonight, some Houstonians will go dark to be green. In it, Houston Chronicle reports that:

“It's more about the education of the community. But it also makes good business sense. We're taking one step at a time.”

The idea is to be green by going black. At 8 tonight, Shelley Woolley will switch off her lights and play a board game beside a flickering candle for the next hour. via Houston Chronicle
