Yet another victim of traditional "values".. Maybe the lawmakers should start thinking of some kind of punishment for what they have come to signify.. Sinister..

Blaming the victim is your only response? Have you EVER had a time in your life when you were so overcome by emotion that you did not know which way to turn? No one has all the answers to every problem, least of all a child. The fault of this is not on him, but on the children who bullied, and the society that allowed it.

And yet with your dismally pathetic life, you still haven't hanged yourself yet. Why is that? We're waiting you know.

Another unfortunate loss of life that was completely avoidable.
The militant homosexuals encourage the young gay kids to come out early and flaunt their sexuality in people's faces.
Then when they get hurt, or hurt themselves, the militant homosexuals feign indignance, when actually they dismiss the child as simply a pawn in the furtherance of the gay agenda.

It is the irrational prejudice and discrimination you promote that leads some to self destruction. While you may be immune to the abuse you dish out, many children have not yet developed the armor needed to deal with folks like you:

"Being lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender is not a risk factor for suicide," Powers emphasized. "Actually, it is the social stigma and discrimination that LGBT youth experience that results in feelings and behaviors which are, in turn, associated with suicidal behavior." The American Association of Suicidology.

R1's lunatic agenda

Bullying is bullying for whatever reason....bullies will find something to pick on...if it's not orientation it would be something else.....it's the bullying that's the problem

So are you suggesting that sexual orientation is obvious? "snyper" has maintained numerous times that most homosexuals are not flamboyant. If that were true, the only way the other kids would know if someone were gay, would be if that kid was encouraged to uncloak, which was the subject of my post.

Not knowing the full details it's difficult to say....it could have been obvious....it is with some....defo not all or most
The bullies might have taunted him with a number of things & hit on gay as the one he was sensitive to...or it could have been known....either way ppl are not wrong for being out...tho it's probably ill-advised to be out at school....it remains true tho that it's the bullies that are the problem to be dealt with not whether someone is out or closeted

Some kids are just obvious. Others can pass for straight, but remaining in the closet takes a lot of energy and keeping anyone from getting close. Most eventually let the closet door slip open from time to time and are found out, at some point. Some friends may keep their secret, while some may not.

But is it the anti-gay prejudice that is the problem, not the kid who can no longer hide being gay. He shouldn't have to, and the only reason he feels he should is the irrational prejudice you promote.

Every time someone uses the F word, they are bullying. When they claim being gay is not natural for some, they are bullying.

Without anti-gay prejudice, there would be no reason to bully gay kids for being gay. Sure, other irrational excuses will be found by bullies, but they and most of their peers can understand the bully is simply being anti-social.

But when laws bully by denial of equality, and religious leaders and some politicians bully, the other bullies have an excuse. Like other bullies, they can ignore it is a natural expression of being human for a minority of the population, just as some are left handed.

It is the prejudice many here still promote that leads far too many to self destruction.

It is always sad that a child or anyone else has to die needlessly, but at some point every person has to take responsibility for their own actions. it's too easy to blame everyone else for something you do. There's cause and effect with everything in life. You just have to deal with it as it comes and hope you handle most situations with intelligents and not emotions.
We know for certain that prejudice and discrimination cause needless suffering and death. While this is has been demonstrated since the beginning of social science, it should be common sense.

Dr. Chris Beyrer, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Public Health: "We know for certain that lesbian and gay individuals suffer harm to their physical and psychological health, and to their relationships and quality of life, as result of the shame, isolation and stigma accrued from their social and legal disenfranchisement."
