Does anyone know where this is located or the cost of it? I had never heard of it before and was driving down the road today and seen the sign next to the interstate.....but don't think it had any contact info on it. Just that it was 15 miles up the road toward LaFollette. I know it's not the same as Country Harvest Corn Maze, so I would really like to have more info about this one.

It is the same one. With lots of new things to do and a second corn maze this year. The barell roll thing is the best! You will laugh till you can't walk! I think it's great to have something like this here!

If it is Country Harvest it is expensive. I checked the price for that one on line. Your money would be better spent going to the one in Corryton (Oakes Farm) where the price is all inclusive and you don't have to pay al acarte for each individual thing. We went a couple years ago it was fun...I was just hoping someone had opened another one a little closer to home.

Here is a little more info.....
Adults and children $8.00
children 2 years and younger and free

hay ride $3.00
cow train $1.00

haunted corn maze $10.00
last 3 Friday and Saturday nights of October

hillbilly slide, human tumble wheel, corn box, hay climb, straw crawl are all included with corn maze admission

hours:
Friday 5pm-11 pm
Saturday 1pm-11pm
Sunday 1pm-6pm

now..... If you think that 11.00 is too expensive.... Go right ahead and spend the 30.00 it's gonna cost you to go to corryton!! I think we should support the ones who try to give us something decent and nice and fun around here! You know.... They didn't build all of that for free! They have to charge enough to cover their costs!

heir costs!
Supporting a local is fine when they give you something to actually enjoy...I went to this last year and will NEVER go again. The corn maze was a muddy soup hole that was short and the pumpkins were terrible. I don't know where you get that it costs $30 to go to the one in Corryton, admission is the same $10 but is a much better value for your money...and if it's gas you are speaking of I can drive down there on 3 bucks...maybe you need a more gas efficient vehicle.

for your information.... It is $15.00 per person to get in at Corryton. As far as this topic goes, I could care less if you go to either maze! It is nothing to me! Information was asked for and I just provided it.
My personal opinion is that this is a great thing in our community and something fun to do close to home.

Btw.... Have fun riding your mo-ped all the way to Corryton! Sure hope you don't plan on trying to go at night! There are a lot of us crazy SUV drivers out there! Hahahaha...

Get your facts straight before you try to give everyone information on the cost of things....

Welcome to Oakes Farm! Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Haunted Corn Maze Knoxville Tennessee
You're Lost! You're Laughing! You Love It! TMConsider Yourself Invited!

10th Anniversary of fun at Oakes Farm New for 2010: Simplified “General Admission” Pricing In the past, we have had al la carte style pricing at Oakes Farm. After months of research on agritourism farms around the country and a customer survey earlier this year, we have decided to switch to a General Admission pricing structure.

The new General Admission includes admission to the “Back 40” and a Hayride
Adults $10.00 Ages 11 & up
Children $8.00 Ages 3-10

so as you can see it isn't $15.00 per person. Also, I loaned my moped to you and you never returned it so I bought myself a Saturn which gets good gas mileage.

Then I guess they are really sticking it to their patrons!! I recieved an email from them offering "half price" tickets..... 2adult tickets for only $15.00. That tells me that something isn't quite right.....(My info came from a website called halfoffdepot.com ) check it out!

I'm done with this....I don't care about such petty things!! I was just providing info about a LOCALLY run buisness that I WILL be supporting!

Why didn't you say that in your last post then. You said it was $15 PER adult, then blah blah blah tearing down the other place claiming "support your local business".... NOW you come on here saying something else then quick exit when you're called out on your "ad" BS. THAT WHY local businesses lose out so bad ... the BS they pull!

Who cares which one YOU go to this season... don't care for the bs, so that alone will lead me to the other one..lol Besides, I"ve heard plenty complain about the one up the valley of past "Patch" visits, same as the other person posted about it being lame for the money... didn't have to read it here, on topix, but it doesn't surprise me that I have now.
