I just took my grandchildren from KY. to the one up the valley at the cost of $8.00 a ticket (kids 2 and under are free). It was just delightful! They had 2 mazes, the 1st with historical questions about our past (Quite a challenge!)and the 2nd was the haunted maze which had "live" models who looked dead, who chased you about, three different characters with real chainsaws flying in and out of the tall corn, and lots of other props with blacklights. There was a tractor pulling a straw-filled trailor for hayrides at a cost of $3.00 a person and a smaller ride made from metal oil cans painted like a zebra for a nominal fee of a dollar per person. There was a small petting zoo and several cute 'cutouts' for that kodak moment. There were lots of free areas for the kids, unique rides, slides,a huge sand box full of field corn kernels! There was even a pretend cow complete with utters attached to a 5 gallon bucket for the kids to milk! There ia mountain of straw for the kids to climb, along with a maze of straw for the kids to climb through. They have two large active fire pits, 2 porta-potties, a nice concession stand, and plenty of seating for the family. This place is in its' 3rd season of operation and I'm sure it will be around for many more. An awesome time was had by our group from 4 years old all the way up to 56!The staff was wonderful-especially working with the kids. I just might go back again with some of my old friends and do a fright-night!
