<quoted text> The doctor lied to you if they said a roxie don't put you at risk for a dependency.. Roxie is one of the most wanted drugs by addicts.. But if you are in suffering pain I guess it's worth it.. My uncle has a slipped disk and a pinched nerve.. He is in so much pain.. When he walks to the mailbox he has to lay down on the ground before he gets there. He won't take pain meds for it.. I think if somebody is in that much pain they should risk it.. It makes me want to cry to see him like that. He came to visit one day while I was in the yard.. He had to lay on the ground on his side the whole time he was there..
exactly. been in that same kind of pain numerous times. ice packs, heating pads, slow sure movements, changes in positions etc. as to Jessica talking her bs, she also tried like hell to say she had no clue OXYCODONE of which she's on (and TOO much at that) is what addicts seeks out. she just gets lamer and lamer with her bs of FEIGNED ignorance of the subject, and personal denial that she's every bit as addicted and over using as the 'cc druggie trash' she runs her mouth about on here. oh that's right... SHE isn't 'cc' either.. even though she's been living in CC, went to school in cc, and has 'cc drug addict issues'.. she's been living in CC far longer then anywhere else. lol

oh you mean my words were mine and not the professionals that told me. Some people I know that had addictions said my pills, just the other day aren't the ones that they would go to trouble to get. Said 7.5 isn't anything.

wow on too much for permanent paralysis of nerves and organ damage from it? With professionals saying its not even a big dose, not even extended relief. So we should trust random person on topix before medical professionals. Wasn't topix the same place people tried to tell me and others not to be doctors, to go to the doctors. Now, being told doctors are wrong. Wow, the hypocrisy and ignorance runs deep.

No, they didn't say they're in college. Drug abuse has your reading comprehension skills compromised; you should stop them...but, then if you did, you wouldn't have the excuse to be a moron. Bummer. lol

I'm the one in college. Maybe you mixed us up. I am 29 years old. I was injured on active duty in 2002. It was only minor disc bulges found in 2002 at ft Campbell. In 2006 my son was born never felt a contraction, he almost died. Didnt know I was in labor. Then moved back her October 2006, had been at ER multiple times extreme pain and headaches, st Mary's hospital here found the bulge herniate on my spinal cord in 2006-7 never told me. By 2009 I was losing the ability to walk, thought it was my arthritic knees. Va and st Mary's never helped me. All this time on arthritis medicine and ibuprofen. I wasn't put on pain medicine until just before having fusion and discectomy. The injury is at my neck curve, where I am always bent over school books. Even the doctors say the dose I am on is nothing, compared to my injury. Said surgery would keep me from being paralyzed but not help the pain. My spinal cord had been permanently damaged and now have permanent myelopathy. I was dead set against pain medicine, but I do not feel a buzz on it, just finally relief. I am also on vitamins anyways. My vitamin d crashed and caused a lot of pain, so on d and calcium in a woman's vitamin. Probiotics and laxative for the stomach discomfort as myelopathy affects stomach and bladder distinction, I already had to have my appendix taken out two years after injury, and have malfunctioning gallbladder. So a spinal cord injury is extremely serious. Why do you think people that are paralyzed can't control bowels or bladder. I was a sneeze away from being paralyzed from neck down.

damn skippy. I find it interesting that some people on here seem to think I am complaining. I'm not I'm telling my story, which is in complete contrast of being pathetic and whining and drugged out pill head. I deal with this, my part time husband, and a 6 year old while maintains my classes at LMU. I'm not a victim, I'm a soldier!

It's ok to have a legitamite issue, and get treatment and money for it. Theres been other soldiers that have killed themselves over stuff like this. you contine to stay strong

I have a veteran friend right now that is in rehab. He acted weird. Aggressive. Started demanding drugs at VA. I sat once and watched him demand a disability plaque for his car. I had neck surgery an only temporarily got disability status only at school dragging around book bags, and made it closer for me, LMU is still very large. Our veterans come home with wounds not seen. I'm just glad he has an opportunity to change things around and took the opportunity.
