You need no luck because you CAN do it. Just put your heart and soul into it, change friends that you are around doing same old thing, and I promise you in one year look where you are and look where they are. And my friend you will never look back once your mind is clean and clear. Ask the good lord to stand with you each day and you can and will come out of this shining brighter than you ever had. You CAN do it!:)
Suboxone

United States

I do not know where the suboxone clinic is in middlesboro ky, but I do know a few people who are being treated with suboxone that it has really worked for. A man where I work says it has saved his life.
Ironically, suboxone has been available in Europe for many years. That kinda goes to show you what kind of power Big Business Pharmaceutical companies have in the United States.

Suboxone IS NOT for you if you are truly a chronic pain patient who needs medical treatment for pain.
Instead, it is for people who are not in chronic pain and do not have progressive diseases/conditions that will only worsen their pain in time. It IS for those who have become addicted to opiates, but really do not need them on a daily basis in order to function.

Suboxone works in the brain by helping you not to "crave" opiates/pain medications. However, it also actually STOPS opiates from working if you were to take one while on suboxone. In other words, if you were to take a pain pill while on suboxone, you would NOT experience any of its effects. It actually BLOCKS them, while at the same time helping with the withdrawl symptoms you would normally have after abruptly stopping opiates.

There really are alot of benefits with suboxone. Additionally, there are really no negative side effects to taking it for a long period of time. You can use it until you completely feel no desire for opiates.

The only drawback I can think of is that I have heard that it is a bit expensive and is not covered by medicare and alot of insurances. This is because in the United States there is not yet a generic form offered. This essentially allows the pharmaceutical company who makes it to be able to nme their own price. But in the longrun, the benefits far outweigh the expense if you believe you have a problem and need to stop taking opiates.

Good Luck and God Bless

Go to it said the perfect statement you go to that clinic and change your friends and your world will change. I've fought It for years now and got clean many a times. But I always relapsed because I kept hanging with the same people. And finally I got into the suboxone clinic and stop hanging around with people and I'm very proud to say today Feb 15 is my one year anniversary. I'm almost out of the clinic now and I feel better than I ever remember feeling in my whole life. You have to go to meetings even if the clinic you choose don't make you. Losing your old friends hanging out in old places and meetings are all the key to it. Good luck buddy and hang in there

It does cost every month but if you're like I was you are spending far more now than it will cost to go to the clinic every month. most places are around 300 a month if you have insurance they will pay for your meds or at least 60 of them depending of your insurance company. Once again good luck and hang in there

Thanks alot it means alot hearing those words (I'm proud of you). People are real fast to judge when a person is doing wrong but really slow to notice when that person does good. I'm pretty proud of myself. My dad is dying with cancer and all he ever wanted from/outta me was to see me go good/get clean. God bless you for the kind words :-).

supposed to be for helping withdrawls to help you quit but hear often enough that its just trading one problem for another cuz they end up addicted to it just like the other so idk good luck tho

lie scam sell ur FS and whatever else yall steal sell prostitute and whatever for the $$$ for the suboxen like yall always do for the narcotics. i mean it was worth it to you to do all those things to have that junk so it should be even more worth it to you to do it some more to stop that way of life in the end right

If you are really wanting to get clean it is a God sent. You have to be willing to go to meetings and go down on your dose often. Just don't rush it, I've saw many people try dosing down way to fast and relapse. Although a few like the above poster can do it much quicker than most. Good job Hard I'm proud of you, hang in there four years is both awesome and inspiring. Good luck too all but you can do it.

Sadly I agree with you. If you have no insurance you'll likely have to do all the things you did to stay high and NOT get high.
If you gotta be a crook to get drug treatment why not just get high.

Expensive drug treatment like Suboxone & Methadone are a lot like non alcoholic beer & liver with no vitamins. What's the use?
yep

IKR! they can sell their pain pills to buy the suboxen instead of their fix! they get the pain pills for free so yeah they have no conscience about it to sell them to buy whatever so yeah sell them to get the money for the suboxen treatment.

IF they REALLY wanna quit.. see that's the thing
