Yes, I did notice this and I think I get it. Someone has some info on somebody else (maybe a police officer) and they are trying to get some sh-- stirred up! This is cyber-bullying. If you google that or google "smear campaign", you'll see the most recent info on it. Boils down to - companies/individuals are getting prosecuted and sued over stuff like this. Come on people!!!

That explains their behavior very well and helps us all see why they, stalk, hide, troll, change identities, lie and even pretend to be be other people- like pretending to have a College Degree that they really don't have, and trying to say people should still put their trust in that person: one word! NUTS!!!! Thanks for sharing- it's makes perfect sense now!

If so, turn them in. This week, the Army posted a “buyer beware” admonition about diploma mills on the Web site that helps soldiers sign up for education and tuition assistance. It advises soldiers to make sure a school is accredited and warns about punishment for entering a fraudulent degrees into personnel records.“Don’t get caught with a ‘bogus degree,’ ” advises Thursday’s Tip of the Day from the Army’s education Web site.
Retired of still wearing the uniform, you will get caught.

As a veteran (a real one), it chafes my arse a bit to know that military servicemembers and other government workers constitute such a large percentage of the market for Belford and Darkmouth degrees. It makes me really ponder how these people ever obtain security clearances (a common requirement for such positions). They contacted my third grade teacher to verify that I actually attended that school for third grade. They also contacted neighbors in every residence I claimed throughout my life. You would think the alarm bells would start ringing at some point… namely that you conspicuously never lived anywhere near your purported alma mater.

Define "fake degree", because there's also getting into an accredited school and just pay for someone else to do the actual school work and they just hand it in as their own. Illegal as hell, but on paper it's a 'real' degree; all they have to do is make sure no one finds out that's what they're doing. They're quite successful at it.

To: Veteran:

The only (civilian, anyway) positions I had ever heard of that do that type of investigation into a potential candidate for employment is for Federal position(s) employment. And, yessiree, they check EVERY thing, and everyone even remotely related to you as a citizen with the finest tooth comb imaginable, that's a fact.

Most jobs require a transcript along with the dgree. I have more respect for a person pusuing any type dgree that a person whom sits on the computer faking who they are and generating fake stories. Perhaps they might get some sort of life credit for compurer skills 101.

Yes, I butchered the writing intentionally; it's called 'mirroring'. Go to your alma mater "GOOGLE" (lol), and ask what purpose mirroring is supposed to serve. Don't hurt yourself getting there, now. Good luck. ;)

If someone fabricates information about a college degree he or she does not really have, or a job he or she never held, the dishonesty is active, deliberate and calculated. Blatant dishonesty tells a lot about the person even if the truth would not materially affect the decision to hire that person.
