Yet another example of the DEC taking care of our wildlife resources... Probably another permit hike coming to pay for the tough guys bullets so he can shoot another bear for NO FREAKING REASON

the DEC didn't kill the bear, did they?? I understood to have read in the newspaper that they just shot it with a tranqulizer gun to beable to take the bear in a different area??

When shot, the bear got caught in a crotch of the tree. Contractors from Con Tech Systems Inc. who are working on the apartment project used their equipment to remove the dead animal and bring it to the street. The carcass was taken to the DEC field office in Dadville, Sgt. Monnat said
