Do they still do this, I would think they would at least carry a taser this day and age.
They have the regular bobbies and the Armed Response units now.

If Zimmerman hadn't been packing, he would have never gotten his fat cowardly ass out of the car.
As would the 500 that were killed in Chicago last year. Wonder how all their gun laws are working for them. Zimmerman was in an official capacity of neighborhood watch, Trayvon was in the capacity of being suspended from school for drugs and tools for breaking in homes in his locker and system. Had Trayvon obeyed the rules, he would be alive today.

Those reporters did the right thing. There's a reason "Firearms" goes in a bureaucracy to regulate them with "Alcohol" and "Tobacco": all three are vices, just the last one'll kill ya quicker.

Those reporters did the right thing.
I have noted with interest that The Kangaroo always seems to side with things that give advantage to criminals. That's what I call being an excellen shitizen.

“That was the most asinine article I’ve ever seen,” said Walter T. Shaw, 65, a former burglar and jewel thief who the FBI blames for more than 3,000 break-ins that netted some $70 million in the 1960s and 1970s.“Having a list of who has a gun is like gold - why rob that house when you can hit the one next door, where there are no guns?

"What they did was insanity," added Shaw, author of "License to Steal," a book about his criminal career.

Outstanding Article.

"Atlanta mom shoots intruder in the face 5 times"

"An Atlanta mom took matters into her own hands on Friday when confronting an intruder. The unidentified woman hid with her 9-year-old twins in a crawlspace as a man broke into her house and began rummaging through it. The alleged burglar, Paul Ali Slater, eventually found the family’s hiding space, but not before finding himself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver. The woman fired six shots, five of which hit Slater in the face and neck, but he managed to flee after the family ran to a neighbor’s house. Slater is expected to survive. This story, shared thousands of times from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution website, has incited some pro-gun tweeps to voice their delight; @Jennecar writes of the story,“why we need guns in our homes!” And @kjclt1 writes,“bet this Atlanta area mother of 2 is glad she had her gun.”"

For every one of those I can find ten in which a child was injured by a gun in a home. Yes, sometimes a pistol packing mama is very glad she had a weapon, but remember what happened to that mom in Conn? Her son used her gun to shoot her and killed 22 others. You'll need a lot of home defenses to make up for that.

1. A neighborhood watch is not an "official" capcity. The officials ordered Zimmerman not to follow Trevon.

2. What kind of burglary tool can you get in your "system."

3. What rule is that? Not to beat up assholes following you and ordering you around with no authority. I've posted why you folks think as you do. Loud noises cause brain cell loss.

Treyvone Martin was a criminal invold in a criminal act when he attacked Zimmerman. Had Zimmerman died whould we have persecuted Martin?

Or would we say he deserved to die because he was taking a stand to protect others.

Can you prove Martin was not involved in a criminal act? The fact if you cannot beat up anyone who orders you around unless the comitt a assault against you that would lead you to beleive they intended to harm you or their actions were violent in nature and you were at risk for immeadiate bodily harm.

Do you have the right to use deadly force if your attacker is trying to bash your brains in while you are lying underneith him?

Door King you lack eduactaion or you have killed off to many brain cells.

Neither of us knows what happened. However, Zimmrman had no official capcity and was told not to follow Trevon. Your education comments would be more effective if you knew the difference between "to" and "too." It certainly appears Zimmerman provoked the incident, and shot Trevon when he started losing. He'll go to jail.

That would come back to the parent/guardian/adult in the situation that by their own mental failings allowed an untrained child to come in contact with a gun. It's still about the thing in the room with a brain and not the inanimate object. A gun is an object. It has no brain. Now I don't argue that there are people that shouldn't own guns due to mental instability issues but to alter the constitution because some miniscule percentage of people exhibit antisocial behavior is dumb.

By that same argument we should outlaw motorized vehicles in neighborhoods with children. Consider that in 2009 38,500 children were killed or injured in pedestrian to automobile accidents. That number doesn't reflect the number of close calls and near misses that were never reported.

Certainly there are many more mentally unstable people daily driving through neighborhoods with small children. By statistcs the children are in as much or greater danger from the unstable or inattentive operator of a motor vehicle than a law abiding gun owner keeping his registered weapons in his safe. If we were really, truly concerned about the welfare of children the outlawing of motorvehciles in areas with children act would have been imposed years ago. But it's not about "the children". Never has been. Never was.

If you have prescription medication in your house you aren't safe, you're not as safe.

If you have a motor vehicle at your house you aren't safe, you're not as safe.

If you have a bathtub in your house you aren't safe, your not as safe.

If you have electricity in your house you aren't safe, your not as safe.

All of the above kill more children and adults than firearms.
