What about Sulpher Dioxide carried on the wind tothe outlying islands. Is anyone monitoring Oahu? Maui? for adverse or raised levels?

I work up at the National Park - The media is being just too over board of the SO2 gas. If it's so dangerous why aren't the scientist wearing a mask for protection? I mean, aren't they monitoring the fumes? I didn't see Major Kim wearing one either, nor do I see other Park Officials and Fire Departments Personnel...hmmm
makes you wonder

I agree, where was the media and all "you" concerned people last year when Pele was really PO'ed during Father's Day? Did you know there was an estimated 200+ tremors?
Yes, let Pele do her thing, we as the people of her land should be honored to live and be surrounded by her creations. For those "concerned" citizens, please feel free to re-locate to another state.

Obviously, the children are at the highest risk. Children downwind are more apt to develop respiratory concerns down-the-road. My chemistry skills are a little weak, but we seem to be 1 oxygen atom away from H2SO4 (sulfuric acid)...that is, when our mucus membranes (H2O) combines w/sulfur dioxide (SO2)...this could become a problem. Correct? Mr. Kim, what is the plan for our Keiki?
It's your keiki, not the governments
so go out and protect your own self; and why only Mr. Kim? Why aren't you asking the State of Hawaii Legislature??? Auwe!
Pele - she is a natural wonder!

It is romantic, kind of in the way that Greece is romantic becuase of the temples to the gods and statues and stuff, but its kind of creepy to me that some people actually believe the volcano is an intelegent entity... It makes me wonder what else these people believe lols

Um perhaps you should learn english fool. If I had used the word Intelligence in that sentence, it would have sounded like I was some foriegn idiot trying to sound smart. There is a difference between the words Intelligent and Intelligence, and I think its quite funny that you are posting from a non english speaking country and the only thing you had to say was something about spelling, that you were actually wrong about..

Thank you Chad; nice to see you can spell finally. Your syntax gives you away, whereas it used to be spelling.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Libra

If you live with other people you have to resign yourself to the fact that you all want to do different things today. The more you urge togetherness, the more everyone will be determined under tonight's Full Moon to do their own thing even if it creates problems. Try to play this down as much as possible because it's also a lunar eclipse and getting angry won't solve anything; it may even make the situation worse. Maybe this is a chance for you to do what you want for a change, too? Anyway, enjoy yourself tonight, Libra because you deserve it!
