I work up at the National Park - The media is being just too over board of the SO2 gas. If it's so dangerous why aren't the scientist wearing a mask for protection? I mean, aren't they monitoring the fumes? I didn't see Major Kim wearing one either, nor do I see other Park Officials and Fire Departments Personnel...hmmm

but ain't that terribly romantic? i like the spiritual aspect of these islands. every place has some mo'olelo from long ago. i am in love with the islands and hawaiian culture. specially moloka'i and its people.

It is romantic, kind of in the way that Greece is romantic becuase of the temples to the gods and statues and stuff, but its kind of creepy to me that some people actually believe the volcano is an intelegent entity... It makes me wonder what else these people believe lols
