Firefighters heading to Lower 48

If we have to get them back, we can call them back. In what is a sign the fire season in Alaska is cooling down and things are heating up in the Lower 48, five Alaska firefighting crews will fly to Utah today to help battle wildfires raging in that state. via Fairbanks Daily Newsminer

it was a fun trip. it was also hard work and very hot down in the lower 48's. that was my first time firefighting and i look foward to going again in the upcoming years. but i hope that there will not be as much wildfires.
