Atlanta, Georgia January 23, 2012 – Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, Inc is pleased to announce its 2011-2012 Scholarship recipients. The scholarships were available to members of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority for undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students.
Heather Danielle Daniel, a student at Lamar University, received the Anne Veale Pogson Scholarship for the 2011-2012 school year. She was one of 42 undergraduate students across the nation to receive a scholarship from the Foundation.
The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation provides essential resources for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority’s educational, leadership and philanthropic activities. Established in 1983 as a separate 501(c)(3) organization, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation accepts tax-deductible gifts to fund a variety of opportunities that benefit Alpha Delta Pi and its members, as well as, the community at large. In addition, the Foundation continues to support the preservation of monuments and memorials that are special to Alpha Delta Pi’s place in history as the first secret society for women.
