woman's body found in Alcorn County

I just heard on the Channel 7 WBBJ's local news that a woman's body was found in Alcorn county today in the river near one of the 700 roads by a hunter. She had been in there from a day up to a week and her body is going to be taken for an autopsy.

She is as yet unidentified and has tattoos on her body, the names "Sierra" and "Madison" (not sure of the spelling on either one).

There is going to be more on this story later on the 10 o'clock news. I really hate hearing stories like this.

Mike,go to WTVA website, Channel 9 in Tupelo and you can find out more. She seems to have shoulder length reddish hair with also a blue mouse tattoo and weight about 110 lbs. I sincerely hope its not your sister.

Found the website, with the id it had to be her. Thank-you for your prayers. She had the ring on her that my wife had made for her 50th birthday just weeks ago.

Mike, so sorry about your sister. I knew her (and you)in Jr. High and High School plus I worked with her at Northrop. My husband worked in the same department that she did and he heard about this at work yesterday. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Mike, This is Kathy, Donna's long time friend from Illinois. I'm so sorry to hear about all of this and my thoughts are with you and your brothers. As well as Donna's kids and the rest of the family.

Heidi and Kathy thanks for your thought and prayers, just heard they have made an arrest. It appears that Donna knew her attacker, nothing firm as it is to early to know the details. My wife Karen was the last to talk with Donna last Thursday moring; she was in good spirts and heading out to run errands. We are planning on burial in Ill.
