Corinth Veterinarian Faces Felony Drug Charges

A veterinarian in northeast Mississippi's Alcorn County was arrested Monday on felony drug charges.

Our Small town life, is Not Exempt from felony drug charges & crime. It's a shame these citizens
fall into this shameless category. So much too
to lose. Our city leaders, lose the respect of the violater as well as the community. Most important to themself and the family they hurt.
You can not hide from addiction. His veterinarian
license needs to be revoked.

I'm confused as to why he even still has a license. And this is the type of man the humane society was using to spay and neutor animals for years. Heard he let his vet techs even do the surgeries. This drug problem has been going on for years. Sad that it took them this long to finally BUST HIM! Leave it to Corinth.

finish operations. He was the Vet, involved with
the local animal shelter! Greg Moore, must have hired him. They both are dishonest ! I hope and pray they take his license away. Fraud, Fraud!

This man should have never had a license to practice.When I met him for the first time I had no doubt that he was doped up himself.He was very unprofessional.Ashtrays everywhere overflowing with cigarette butts.He even took a smoking break while we were there.He also made it clear to us that he was VERY rasict.Black people weren't allowed in his office when he could help it.He'd even shut the door in there face at times.The people working for him were made aware of it as well and ask not to let them in when it could be avoided.He even bragged about how he treated black people even our local law enforcement.After meeting him I had to wonder WHY is this man running a business.Had we had a choice at the time he would not have treated our pet that day.I was extremly creeped out by him.The visit was almost like one you would imagine in a bad horror movie.I was truly bum fuzzled when I left there and vowed I'd never go back..

Does the City managers of Corinth, know
this? Someone, should call the Mayors Office
and National ASPCA. Brent Jobe needs further

Greg Moore, is the one who appointed him. Greg's
azz needs to be on the line as ell, knowning his
habits. All of the employee's of Brents Office
need to come forward to reveal, his shady and corrupt surgeries and business dealings!!!

Calling the mayors office wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. Jerry Latch could care less. He's been contacted a zillion times about the humane society, as well as all the alderman of Corinth, and no one is doing anything. It's a joke how corrupt this town is. And shame, shame on the young vet from Iuka who backed out of killing the dogs a few weeks ago, and now has decided to take on THE JOB. It's all about the money not the animals. You will notice that the local vets that have something called CLASS won't touch the humane society because of how corrupt it is there. A woman last week traded two pain pills for a dog. OMG!! And they wonder why there isn't any money to run the shelter. It makes me want to vomit! How do people just sit back and allow all of this stuff to happen? Are the people of Corinth's eyes shut or what? Something has really got to change. Everywhere you turn, from the cracked out vet, to the humane society, to the board of directors for the humane society.....CORRUPT!!!!!

I remember when Brent Jobe came in on a holiday morning to treat our dog when she wouldn't stop vomiting, 11 times in 2 hours. We called his answering service and he promptly returned our call and shortly thereafter met us at his office, treated our dog and sent us home with some anti-nausea medication. He charged us a fair price, and didn't overcharge due to it being a holiday.
I do not know of any of the other allegations, all I know is he was kind and compassionate with all our animals and had a good bedside manner. I do not know if he was prejudiced or used drugs. I never noticed evidence of either.
Hope he gets community service and/or probation and rehab. Everybody makes mistakes, but he should be held accountable if and when he is convicted.

My God ,,,just years ago this very man who would do anything for anyones animal was held High ON a pedistal.... I'm sure each one of us has friends family or relatives who have fallen into some kind of personal . finacial or otherwise probelm of some kind .. Sorry to say Most people who believed and cared soo much turned a BLIND eye as its so called in earlier postings to many things . and a persons private problems are sooo missunderstood and confussed with not giving a damn... Anyone who was given the chance to really get to KNow Brent Jobe could see his pain and his confussions and Knew he had more underlying Problems then even we could imagine .. For a man to have everything or anything at his fingertips.. the one thing he had not was true friends who were advizing him on the right path ... We all have grumbled to the ground a time or two.... Go ahead Kick someone when theya re down and hurt ... Want someone to KICK YOU ...
