1. Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin passes away

The oldest living apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has passed away.

Death happens.

It is a fact of life.

Every human being will eventually die.

As did Richard Nixon. A great man Tricky Dick was. Too bad he passed, but the clock was against him.

Joseph B. Worthlin was a wonderful man. I am so glad that he was with us for one more General Conference. I truly enjoyed listening to him speak. I didn't think he would make it all the way through his talk, to tell the truth. He was a spiritual giant and will be missed. I am glad, however, that he is able to continue the work of the Lord on the other side in ways that he was unable to on this earth. I know that his spirit lives on.
