the only way unions in the private sector benefit is when private businesses can grow and suceed
but unions continue to vote for democrats who constantly beat up on these companies and keep raising there taxes and costs
we cannot keep going in this direction
either we need to let business do what is needed to compete or live with lower wages and higher costs to employees
you cannot have it both ways - raising taxes on businesses (combined reporting, thanks gov doyle) and raising wages and benifits
unions will be a thing of the past unless we let companies grow without regulating them to death
wake up union people the republicans want to remove these regulations and taxes on companies so they can grow and you can keep your wages and benefits
as far as the picketting who are you against the people who want to keep jobs here or the politicians who think businesses are just a deep pocket
voting for a democrat is shooting yourself in the foot
and if you think big bonuses and salaries are the problem . then you are telling future generations (your children) that you can succeed but not to much - killing the american dream for them
remember these companies are not obligated to manufacter here in the usa. keep voting for democrats and we will have not future for the next generation to enjoy and prosper like prior generations have done
you union peole should be demonstrating against all the restrictions and regulations doyle and the democrats have forced on these companies

it was not bush who imposed combined reporting / it was not bush who pushed for "green" regulations on businesses / it was not bush who wanted "tarp" limitations on businesses
it was not bush who lobbied for fanny may and fredie mac to losen up restrictions on mortgage loans

wake up and see whats going on

obama is printing dollars at such a rate we will fall into either a depression or hyper inflation
and he is giving away our coutries wealth at a alarming rate
see what the dollar is against the euro and you will see that we cannot keep giving away our wealth to islamic and european countries to keep them aflot so we can keep our heads above the water
eventually it has to crash

remember the weaker the dollar the stronger other counties are getting - off obamas policies of bailing out everybody else
why do you think we do not have enough money to help our own people

after november we go after the remaing democrats and obama

you can see how weak the dollar is by the rising spot price of gold that is the measure the rest of the world uses
and they are laughing at us . wondering why the usa is exporting many more dollars than we are taking in

a perpetual deficet at these numbers is a disaster waiting to happen

hows that change working for you.......

These people are so lucky and blessed to have jobs at all. The company has provided you with very good jobs and benefits and now they are in a position of having to make the changes that will keep your jobs in the area. Don't take to the streets walking with signs, be thankful that Kohler Co. has stayed where it is for as long as it has. Your only hurting yourselves. You don't have a clue how many people out here would love to have your jobs!!!

Why is it that these companies take from the laborers who make far less than some of their top management people. The people who are doing the physical jobs making the products always get the short end of the deal when they are the ones who have to make the products they sell. They will just take and invest the profits elsewhere in other countries, golf courses and pay their BIG WIGS more money at the exspense of the laborers. Start at the top and share the wealth, treat employees with respect and fairness.

They should just be happy they have a job, great benfits and a company that wants them there...let them picket...if it was my company and they striked...I would get new employers..there are plenty of people looking for jobs right now...Why do they think they are special to come back if they strike..

The reason companies move to other states or foreign countries is because of unreasonable wage, retirement and health care demands by the unions. If you really want Kohler to stay in Kohler listen to them and agree to their offer. Your job depends on it.

all of you people seem to think that they are worried about the money. but what they are concerned about is the tier system. after 91days of being laid off when they come back they have to come back to less money. how would you like it if one day your employer laid you off after working there for 20yrs then when you came back you were given 65% of what you were making before and the person next to you that has only been there for 10yrs is making more than you? on top of that you will be considered flexible work force with no set hours,i wouldn't like it. but i will let all of you idiots continue to think its just about the pay freeze. keep knocking them, because everything you have directly or indirectly you have because of a UNION!!! when they lose, you lose even non union companies have to compete with union wages or they will be stuck with unqualified help. so UAW local 833 don't stop fighting for what is right

Unions are causing this country to go to hell in a hand basket. Remember, when unions asd for more all the company has to do is raise its prices and you the union people end up paying for it. The best thing you could do is sit down shut up and keep your jobs so you can feed your children.
I worked for the UAW and when we went on strike we got S@#$t from the union and the company moved for the last 25 years I worked for a non union company and treated fair and made a great living. I am now retired and doing just fine.
