I have known Steve since he was 14 years old. He is an outstanding individual, and always has made himself available to help others, and is a wonderful friend. May God continue to grant him, his family and friends strength, healing, and hope!

What a wonderful community we live in. I've always been touched by how this community pulls together in a time of need and support. God bless Steve and Lisa, his mother, and all thier family and friends.

I am a good friend of Lisa and Steve Helton, and now live in Vancouver, Canada. I am desperately trying to get hold of Lisa Helton.
If anyone can help me, I would be extremely grateful.
In the meantime, Lisa, Steve, Beau and Tayler are constantly in my heart and prayer.

You guys were a part of our family for so many years, and we will always cherish those memories. Kate and Nicholas join me in wishing you all strength during this difficult time. We are praying for you and just want you to know that we hold you all very dear even though miles separate us. Steve was always there for us during some very rough times, and we love him very much. PLEASE keep fighting Steve....we need you!!!

Does anyone have an update on Steve's condition ? I hope the City will treat him more fairly and keep him on as an employee to keep his medical coverage, not like they did to Rodger Brakins and several others. Bless Steve

Me and My family as praying for your recovery... Since meeting you in the fifth grade I always thought you were a great person. It has been many years since I have seen you but those school years stick with you forever. I can still see you walking the halls at SCHS with your letter jacket on and a great big smile for everyone. You were always the tough guy with the heart of a teddy bear. Also, thanks to Jeff Saas for getting the word out to those of us that have lost touch with our hometime. Get Better Soon!!!!!!!!

Hey Terry,
I went to school with you and your sister and played ball when you did. I had heard that Patsy had had some health problems...how is she doing? Thanks

Tracy, I think you have your facts mixed up. The guy that hit Steve was drunk, not Steve.
