FBI announces Palin not under investigation

An FBI spokesman took the unusual step today of declaring that Gov. Sarah Palin is not under investigation, an announcement prompted by rumors to the contrary on many web sites.

The ruthlessness of people.......trying to destroy a woman whose only "crime" was to run on a Republican ticket for the Vice President of the United States of America. Our founding fathers must be rolling in their graves. Too bad this scrutiny and viciousness didn't follow our current President. The left would be having a cow if that had happened. Well, thanks to Gappy, now we know there is no FBI investigation of Governor Palin. I'm sure he can vouch there is no investigation of the Palins at the Hague either.

When a small town mayor steers contracts to a local contractor, in exchange for a job for a spouse, or for materials that are for the personal use or benefit of that mayor (building their house), that's not an FBI matter.(Are houses you can see Russia from more expensive? LOL!!!)

When local prosecutors near Wasilla say there is no criminal investigation of Governor Palin or her family, then we can breath easy.

Among other things, we'll know Todd won't be going away needing to pack something old, something new, something borrowed, or something blue!

btw - the FBI may not be investigating her for embezzling those building materials but that doesn't mean that Alaskan officials aren't. Something rushed her Friday decision.

Legally, her alleged crime did not involve interstate movement of stolen goods and she was just a state official at the time. So why the Feds?

I still believe that Palin will be indicted this month.
