Judge rules in favor of sex offenders' rights

I was released from prison in 2002.I did'nt have to register as a sex offender.In april 2008 county sheriff comes to my door stating I had to register,6 years after my release.I lost my job,soon my house and other property I worked for.I can't beleave it.Is this right?Now what am I suppose to do?

I agree Richard. This is not right. Youve been punished by being in prison and now they want to punish you some more
