Bring the car prices down to a reasonble prices. Tell the presidents of these car companies to take a subtantial pay cut and spread the wealth. Oh sorry, I forgot they can't or will not do that. We need a car company champion for the middle class whether we belong in it or not.

Note, housing prices are coming down, gas prices are coming down, home equity is coming down...so why not car prices?

Car prices are very low right now. Lots of people cannot get carloans, and most people really don't need a new car because they sold so many cars a few years ago.

Did you know that the Ford Fusion is the same car as the Mazda-6? I have not priced checked them, but I wonder if one costs more than the other.

When the Germans took over Chryler they replaced American management that was getting paid 2-3 million dollars a year with German managers that earned $400,000 a year.

China and India are starting auto industries, and I do not know if the Americans can compete on price alone.

Workers at the VW plant in Mexico make about $25/day which is about one-third or one-fourth of what Mexicans can make picking tomatoes in Florida.
