As for the suit, it's just the result of another nasty divorce. Susan made a lot of wild charges against Doug that are without merit and now they've blown up in her face. She'll be the big loser if this thing ever gets to court.

I voted for Doug...and? I thought he did a fine job. Can you tell me "yankee" what has our new mayor done since taking office? On Woods Rd there was a sign for years that stated "Future home of KH Rec center" What did we get? A shuffle board park? WHAT? Who the hell shuffle boards? Nothing but a $600,000+ waste of space and tax payer dollars.Hell dont get me wrong its a nice boardwalk to a mosquito infested swamp..hey the asphault smell is lovely too. You must be one of the six or so Kitty Hawk residents that Doug, Bill & Donna catered to. If they were so great they'd have been re-elected instead of skunked at the polls in 2005. The town's so much better off now.

It has nothing to do with greatness the reason for not being re-elected was a little Fire station that residents were upset about the cost. Well I for one think that it was a good investment in the future of the town. Nobodys complaining now huh? How can you say that our town is better off? Let's not confuse stating the facts with smearing. Smearing would potentially be libelous and slanderous, what I have said about Dougy's wall is neither. The wall was a fact. Dougy thumbed his nose at the rules as he felt they did not to apply to him, plain and simple. As for destroying Dougy, apparently he doesn't need help, he's doing a fine job all on his own!!!!

Seriously, if you think the fire station is why Dougy and his pose were not relected you obviously have not been paying attention.

List of som of Doug et al's "accomplishments"

1. Close to a million dollars in attorney's fees paid by Kitty Hawk taxpayers.
2. Dogs banned from the beach as a prelude to requiring licenses for all dogs - even those of vacationers.
3. Removing citizens from boards and committees for attending a meeting of the civic association. It's surprising they didn't require loyalty oaths.

That's just a few examples of the bullying style of governance they promoted. Not being re-elected had pretty much nothing to do with the fire station.

I have no agenda. I am not running for anything and support no one in their quest for office. However, I do enjoy when folks like Dougy get what's coming to them.
