"The Colorado Department of Transportation said its entire fleet of snowplows was deployed, but plow drivers had a difficult time keeping up with the steady overnight snowfall."

This is sad. This is the Rocky mountains. If C-Dot can not keep up with a 7 inch storm in the metro are then something is seriously wrong. The roads are always in horrible shape regardless of the snow fall amounts.

And where is the money going to come from to buy more plows and hire more workers that are kept on stand-by? I think that we should just appreciate what we do get which is a pretty good job. Sure the roads may be slick, snow might start piling up, but we can still get from place-to-place. No one should expect the roads to be perfect. Also, Denver and the Front Range are not the Rocky Mountains. The snow down here melts within a few days. Up there, it comes down much more frequently and piles up all year.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Taurus

It's important that you leave yourself plenty of room to manouvres during the weeks ahead, as Mercury turns retro today, especially when it comes to making decisions and airing your opinions to the world. You need to be as flexible as possible right now, otherwise you could find that you've boxed yourself into a corner and have to do some serious back-tracking. You need to consider all points of view and not just your own.
