USA Today published an interesting article recently about the many Columbine misconceptions that were perpetuated by the media in the years after the event, and how the tragedy was exploited by various people and organizations pushing social and legislative agendas.

Rachel Scott sounds like an incredible person. I hope her parents' mission to bring "a chain reaction of compassion" works. I hope they come to NY.

I went to a convention in April and Rachel's uncle came and shared her story with us. It has definately changed my life hearing about how much she has changed other people's lives with her unthinkable ways.

This story is very sad. But it also touches me in a way thats hard to describe. I feel really bad about what happened, and I wish I could change it all, and lastly, my heart goes to her family for their loss.
