I hate to say this but some of you people don't know your American History. America is made of different cultures that's what America is, that's what they tech you in Collage. America does not mean English or Spanish, if you don't like how some areas are move on to something different. I think we should blame the people that did this. The WHITES. No here me out, we decided to stay in school and study, go to college , graduate get all of the good jobs and leave the crappy jobs for the ones who feel like working. There is broblems all over the area. Even gated ares have homes broken in to and cars the sound like chain saws. My next door person is a ex cop from New York area is white and has a junk yard for a house and a yard with junk cars.

i agree with this comment because i live here only people who believe in GOD can believe in people who try to be better dont judge just for judge you have to think about their feelings and culture everyone has one so enjoy your culture to can enjoy and understand others dont need to be rude or racist just be an intelligent person cause intelligent means more than we want to see and less than we want to know...

BVL is not in Orlando, which is in Orange County. It's in Osceola County, which has a propensity to favor developers over its constituents.

[5 Years of BVL hell]

I lived in BVL from 2004-2009 and each year it gets more run down. A predominantly Hispanic neighborhood, BVL has one of the highest concentrations of Puerto Rican immigrants in the US. Although they make up a majority of the population in BVL, there are still a fair number of other races. Many of the inhabitants over the years have migrated from some of the scummiest parts of the northeast and have brought the ghetto to BVL. I do not recommend this area for raising a family as the schools there suck and the people are some of the most rude, uncivilized, ignorant, annoying, shady, & close-minded I have seen. It's a very run-down, low-income area where many people are on food stamps and have overcrowded houses. There is a great presence of gang activity, however, I haven't experienced any type of violent crime here in the 5 years that I lived there but that doesn't make it obsolete. Another thing is that this area caters to Puerto Ricans and almost anywhere you go you will find people who don't speak english or correct spanish. If your moving to the Orlando area, try Dr. Phillips, MetroWest, Winter Park, UCF, Waterford Lakes, Casselberry, Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, College Park, or downtown if you can afford it.
