i agree with the lady before me. too much drama, not enough emphasis on working out. dancing is ok here n there, but it shouldnt be the focus of a gym. in this place all they worry about is dancing it seems. and the owners seem to milk that for all its worth because if they really cared there would be a well-rounded offering, not just dancing 24/7 i also thought it was dirty and unorganized, the child care center workers are always late and the people are rude. i guess u get what u pay for :(

I'm surprised that you girls out there still think this is a serious gym. If you are serious about working out and taking pride in yourself, you would leave. My grandmother goes to this gym and when I drop her off, it's like dropping her off at the senior center (snacks and all). When I pick her up, she complains about all the nonsense in the gym, especially from the instructors. They're there to help you, not gossip with you. TAKE YOUR 20 AND GO WHERE YOU CAN REALLY WORK OUT.

I understand that people have their issues at the gym, but i dont think i could come to a better place to work out. I see people complaining about wanting free training, you cant go anywhere to get free training. The staff really cares about you and takes care of any issues that may arrise. Ive been in the gym since it first opened and i cant imagine working out at any outher place. And 21.39 is roughly .63 cents a day...try and get that price anywhere else...I LOVE GENETIC FITNESS THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HATERS!!!!

Its probably because she doesnt wash her sneakers? Athletes foot as well as many other fungus and germs hover in the gym enviornment... no matter how many times cleaning crew comes in. Any shower even LA or PF's one should wear h2o shoes.

Try spin with the new instructors they are soooooo much better than the tall guy with skinny legs that didnt even know how to train.. and how many people really saw changes in his spin routine, I mean I could have taught the class and stay on my bike the entire time not like him!

I like this gym and the zumba workouts are fun! Yes its crowded but thats because its a great class and they have other classes too! Not just zumba. The staff is friendly and helpful and i've brought my child with me and they take good care of him. For 20 bucks a month you cant beat that!

I can only say one thing about this gym: Awesome! the energy is great, the staff is friendly and more than willing to give good suggestion on work out. I have lost 30 pounds since I started my work out there and the gym has everything anyone needs to get into shape: Belly dancing, spinning, kick boxing, zumba and great equipment. As long as this gym is there I will always be a member...

I've been going to this gym for 4 months. The reality is that I haven't switched to another one, because of the low monthly fee. I do agree that the Staff they have is somewhat rude and impolite, with the exception of Tony (he's truly amazing), and the Manager. Every single day that I arrive at the gym, the young man at the front-desk, never responds to my greetings and when I ask him anything, he keeps watching the TV, like I'm not there. I had to reschedule the first assessment at least 4 times, because they kept canceling it, so I gave up!!. The bathrooms are disgusting, and I've seen plenty of arguments between members, because of the limited space in the rooms, and between classes, people pushing each other as one class exits and the other comes into the room. I don't think the amount of people in one room (where classes are given), would be approved according to many regulations!! I hope there never is an emergency!!How would everyone exit through one door? The others are blocked with equipment!!! POSITIVE: TONY'S Zumba classes are worth ALL OF THE ABOVE !!ES EL MEJOR

I joined in the spring and loved it while they had step, kickboxing and offered a variety of classes. But for months now it is only dance classes, they had step again only for a few weeks though. I agree with the post above the staff are very unfriendly and rude and the trainers mope around the place. Zumba is great but you barely have space to move so what's the point! Ok its popular but does it have to be all they offer???? Its not anything like a gym should be oh and forget about spinning class the same people run and put a towel to hold their bikes for them so always full! And this is the only option of a class other than belly dance! Seriously???? No wonder all the new instructors you see leave quickly!!

I have been going to this gym for a very long time. At first I didn't care too much about the rude staff, because I could really care less for them and their snotty attitude. I was there to work out and lose weight. I did however noticed that the sauna wasn't working, it never has. their old excuse was that they were waiting for approval from some fire safety thing before they could turn it on, but that was so last year. Anywho, I always enjoyed the Zumba with Tony, until it got too tight in the classes. It was fun when you can dance around, but it got to the point where you can't even move without bumping into another person next to you. Tony is very nice, but he only seem to appeal with his latino audiences, I think it is a bit unprofessional to communicate only in spanish when clearly there are some other ethnicities around the dance floor. So what if it is latin music, it is still rude to discount those who do not understand spanish. Anyways, Yes the staff is Rude. I wouldn't say that the place is totally dirty...it is small, and compact at times (depending on what time you go) but not totally trashy. It is cheap, so it is convenient, but I have had some discrepancies on my bank account that they have overdrawn, but no matter how much you talk to them to dispute it, and show them proof, they will blow you off by telling you they will take care of it, but they never do. I think that is unprofessional and unsatisfactory, but then again, you can't expect much from genetic Fitness.

I joined when they first opened so it wasn't over crowed but I still had issues with the bathroom/locker room/staff. You could tell they were new; just starting out and were unfamiliar on how things should be at a gym so I let it pass. As time went on it just got worse/Rude Staff, unprofessional trainers and pretty much a hang out spot for $20+ a month. Now it's just ridiculous I stopped going there about 3 months ago because of the overcrowded space and just ridiculous atmospher. There are no staff members there that care of those who really want to work out get in shape - stay in shape or get healthy. This place is a JOKE.

Wherever you go you will always have issues. If you don't like something leave. I have been at this gym for a year and I have never had an issue. I take the classes, work out with the weights and use the machines. I enjoy going there because I am there to do one thing and that is workout and not make friends.

What would you like the number to that place?
It is horrible!
The only good thing there is Tony's Zumba.
The Gym is all crowded, the bathroom so small, no lockers, big mess
You can never make it to the spinning class because all the bikes are taken even 2 hours before the class.
On top of that,
BEWARE OF YOUR MONEY, BECAUSE IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE, THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK OR PRORATE THE UNUSED TIME!!!!
To me, the worst in town!!!!
