Wow. Way to bring up a dead guy. Are you trying to blame Scott's suicide on Lawson? Not only is it not true, it's pretty reprehensible.

Mercedes Leon does not have the reputation or the backing to get elected in this cycle. Period.

Anyone who says of a suicide victim - "he was happy at home and happy at work" and then have the investigator assigned to Pignone, indicted on child porn charges using a computer in Lawson's office - you figure it out.
No matter how you look at it - Lamar's as dirty as they get and he needs to go.

Dirty politics? Sounds like that is what Mercedes does well because she can't win on her own good works. Just what has she done? She is one who does not believe in personal responsibility? Lawson didn't use the weapon against that suicide victim!! She probably blames Lawson for the hurricanes too! LOL! Lawson doesn't have much of an opponent in Mercedes. LOL what a joke! Yes... it is a shame Lawson doesn't have a more credible opponet.

I would say yes. She only became a Republican weeks before starting up her campaign for Supervisor of Elections. I know this for a fact. Part of the problem with getting a challenger with the gravitas to beat Lawson is, for an attorney who has that many years' experience and who isn't pulling in those DROP benefits, the salary with that office is a pay cut. Since that job does not have the prestige of being a judge, nobody who could actually win runs.

That's funny about Lawson shaking down his employees and only pulling in $5K! Kind of the opposite of bubble-up economics. You pay your most important employees (as opposed to the grotesquely overpaid managers) pap and then are surprised that they aren't willing or able to open up their wallets for your campaign?

Your opinion needs to be taken with a grain of salt after you conclude that Lamar "is competent and qualified" without giving any basis for that conclusion. I give no more weigh to your opinion merely because you are an attorney.
