"San Juan County Adult Detention Center Sgt. Steven Economos said. It is likely Tsosie faces additional charges related to the rape and death"

Hope you meant that you wanted to file additional charges from the way he looked at you. Its likely administration will charge you with violating policy for talking to the press.

It seems to me that more and more crime is hitting our area. As a Farmington resident we need to come together as a community and let criminals know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated. I know that all of this is wishful thinking but when will the prejudice, abuse, hate and all the negative vibe stop?

You're right Not all Dine' and not all whites, scum exists in all races. Just a fact of nature.

Until facts are released, we really don't know what happened. Except that a woman unfortunately died before her time.
I'll reserve my view on this until more is known.
Although it would be too easy to speculate at this point.

FYI Just another example of why concealed carry is becoming so popular.

I came here to read stupid comments about a tragedy. Sadly I'm not disappointed.

The Times left a lot out of this story and left the suggestion that a simple rape killed a woman. That does not happen. She must have suffered a massive beating before or after the act.

You are absolutely right. And many of the comments on this forum prove that stupidity also is not restricted to one group.

alcohol is what drives people to do horrible things to people - killing people out of pleasure. I see Farmington NM stores with adult rated shops and people driving while intoxicated all the time. Your City Councilors need to react

not sure if I should be repulsed or sad. Some of the comments here are just sickning. First off, NO person "asks" to be raped Mr TotahStreetJohn. That is about the sickest thing I think I have ever heard!! Second, I am anglo and the comment about the crimes being so typical for native americans is a CLOSE second in the rating of stupid comments. This is not a joke. This is not funny. Reading this forum tells me how far south our community has really gone. Dealing with just the FACTS...someone died after being raped. Two very unfortunate incidents EXPECIALLY if they are tied together.

Don't blame alcohol, blame the dipstick who did it. The rapist should have been aborted the minute he was conceived. You can bet he probably did not have any family support, was raised by a single mother, and was educated on the rez where he learned a victim mentality. Fry the f***er!

It was a broke down van. I believe they were homeless. I drove by and saw them putting someone on a stretcher. There are alot of drunks around that area. I hate to say it, but it's true.

Sad but too true. If only people would choose the "straight and narrow path" most of this hate and raacism would go away.
