Dear Doug:
I would like to point out that KKK members act anything but Christian. The Bible does NOT condone violence toward your fellow man or woman, regardless of race. The KKK is generally full of people with crude manners, abnormally low moral standards, and lack of cultured behavior and/or education. This group is America's poorest and most disparaged and despised category of whiteness. The KKK always seems to recharge themselves at times of controversy. They resurfaced when the controversy about whether or not to legalize gay marriages, and now they've resurfaced again at the time of the immigration controversy. The KKK is a dangerous minority that can get sympathy from narrowminded, but seemingly otherwise normal people, in times of controversy. The KKK, therefore, uses times of controversy as a catalyst to spread its hatred and violence. I do not pity the KKK that has moved past lynching blacks in the 1800s right into home arsons, church bombings, and cold-blooded murder. It seems to me that anyone who can read the Bible and get "black or Latino people are evil" out of it needs to turn their second amendment -- protected shotguns -- on themselves. And ya know what, Doug, here's an added irony about your KKK group of racist thugs: The KKK is so ignorant that they typically use the Swastikah in their rallies that was used by Nazi Germany. But what many ignorant KKK members don't realize is that there was a time that Hitler banned the Mason's -- an organization with direct ties to the KKK -- from Germany. There is evidence that Hitler was being fed anti-Semitic information by the Freemasons and that Hitler retaliated to the infiltration of his intelligence agencies by forming the SS to weed out the Masons from his "Inner Circle." Hitler even went so far as to persecute and chase down Masons throughout Europe. The number of Freemasons from Nazi occupied countries who were killed is not accurately known, but it is estimated that between 80,000 and 200,000 Masons perished under the Nazi regime. Yet, Masons and KKK members seemingly admire Hitler and his hatred toward others even though they were hated by Hitler themselves, and yet they share the same symbol that Hitler's Nazi party used. What do the Freemasons have to do with the founding of the Ku Klux Klan? The answer: Everything. Albert Pike, a very high degree Mason in the 1830s era established the Knights of the Golden Circle, the early KKK in the South. Pike was the author of the infamous Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, a "coded" book for Masons. Not someone who I would consider your average "nice guy," history reveals that Pike was said to be a Satanist, who indulged in the occult, and he apparently possessed a bracelet which he used to summon Lucifer, with whom he claimed to have had constant communication. Pike was also the Grand Master of a Luciferian group known as the Order of Palladium (or Sovereign Council of Wisdom), which had been founded in Paris in 1737. Members of the KKK are typically ignorant and in every sense bankrupt of cultural endowment. KKK members are not anyone that I am proud to consider a fellow white American.

i am in hopes that people around the wall lake lake view area read this. it is a shame that in this small community that a business owner in our community would entice some young troubled kids into joining a group such as the kkk. it is a shame that you would take advantage of children who were neglected and show them hate instead of love. You, yourself, miss lighthouse cafe, should be ashamed of yourself. you couldn't even raise your children right and now your turning young impressionable boys into hating obsolete members of society. your own children don't even claim you and one of them is sitting in prison. just because you are a nobody in our community doesn't mean that you need to drag young kids down with you. people know who you are as well as the youth you are brainwashing. grow up you old bag. and if the kkk is so great, why did they not save your business??? the only reason you spread so much hate in our community is because you know how our community feels about you! if the kkk is something your serious about then you need to move down south where they are still 50 years behind and get the hell out of here and away from our children.

And who says that the rest of us don't stand for what we believe in??? The rest of us express our opinions but just don't shove them on everybody else. We let people do what they believe in with out the graffiti in our churches, and public property. If you are so proud of your beliefs, and would like people to join you then perhaps you should get a billboard on the highway and advertise it just like other "churches" do. You need to quit slandering people, you, yourself are not god. And you were not put on this earth to judge. And i hope that when it comes to your day to be judged, I hope God casts you into hell for judging people and making their life hell. Nobody should have to live life being scared because you don't agree with their lifestyle, color, race, or religion. Believe what you want to believe, I don't have a problem with that. I do have a problem with you people trying to shove your shit down my throat, harassing people, and ruining public property which the tax payers have to pay for. You don't see anybody else out defacing property because of what they believe. Grow up!!! Preach it legally if your so proud of your beliefs.

Members of the KKK must all be unaware that Jesus was an Armenian Rabbi with brown hair, brown eyes, and brown skin. And a black man born in the U.S. is Made in America. A Hispanic woman born in the U.S. is Made in America. A Swedish man born in the U.S. is Made in America. A German woman born in the U.S. is Made in America. The Native American people are indiginous to North America, not the Europeans (German, Swedish, etc.) And, ironically, I don't see many Native Americans welcomed into the KKK, which claims they are the only group Made in America.

You are making no sense. Based on the historical background of the indigenous people of that period in the Middle Eastern area where Jesus was the people would have been brown skinned, dark haired, and brown eyed. Every group on the Klan's targeted list serves as a scapegoat for individual Klansmen to explain and excuse their inability to succeed and advance in modern society. This need for justification runs deep in the disaffected and is unlikely to disappear, regardless of how low the Klan's fortunes eventually sink. The KKK is America's oldest and most infamous racist organization. The Klan has historically targeted any minority group that competes economically with lower-class whites. Klan members often attempt to defend their lifestyle with violence and terrorist intimidation. The modern Klan's ideology closely resembles that of other racist groups in America.

you say that the klan has always been in exsitance and always will be. if it has been around here then why until now has it not been apparent? Do you agree with all of the stuff that is happening in our community?? Do you think it is right that this so called kkk group is defacing property?? tell me what it is that you believe is right with these kids?? What if your house was next to get defaced?? Would you be proud to sport it?? or would you hide in under your mask?? if your so happy with the kkk why do you not put your real name on your comments?? why is everything done in secrecy?? And i can't believe you have the balls to call Jeanie uneducated when it is obviously you who is uneducated. Like the big bad "KLAN" you too need to grow up and look into our laws and see what is legal and what is not! All I ask for is that our children be left out of this bullshit. we raise them with our beliefs and it is not fair for certain members of your group to prey on innocent but troubled teens and have them do all of your dirty work!!

A previous poster mentioned what Jesus skin color is. I merely pointed out he'd have to exist first before you can even discuss it. There's no purpose in bringing up Jesus in this discussion either but someone decided to do that. I see you failed to tell them that as well.

You can still pray in schools and still have freedom of speech.

based upon the history of the region during that period that land was taken over time and time again and i think during that time it was under roman empire, and to the other lady whining about religion the klan is fighting to have religion in school so you have no idea what you are arguing about, both you should do research on what you are arguing about not whats bad about the klan but the good points, you can get bad ideas about any group a good example is the aclu standing for american rights, what they believe in even tho they somtimes find themselves fighting for a disputed group.

Following passage of the Hate Crime Statistics Act of 1990 and at the request of the Attorney General, the FBI has gathered and published hate crime statistics every year since 1992, some of which involved the KKK. The following reports are available on this website: http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cid/civilrights/hate.ht... .
In a time when our country is fighting a War on Terrorism abroad, we cannot forget terrorists who operate in our own country using violence to intimidate and coerce Americans. Among these local terrorists are members of the KKK. The FBI's annual report on hate crime statistics included over 7,600 criminal incidents committed in 2004, resulting from antagonism over race, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Some of these criminal incidents involved the KKK. It is the same groups preaching hate and intolerance here in our country that plant the seeds that grow into terrorism. Unfortunately, crimes of hatred and prejudice from lynchings to cross burnings to vandalism of synagogues are a sad fact of American history. The FBI began investigating what we now call hate crimes as far back as the early 1920s, when the FBI opened its first Ku Klux Klan case. Fortunately, today the FBI remains dedicated to working with state and local authorities to prevent these crimes and to bring to justice those who commit them.

you should find out how many hate crimes there are in iowa and what people caused them since you have the time to find everything out, then when you are done maybe you can tell me how much you love pedophiles, illieagle aliens, and gay rights because about 70% of the nation is not for them, youi must be a lesbian or molest children not to be on the side of the klan
