Maybe the need to get rid of some illegals. If the rest of us were smart we'd use California as a barometer of what can and WILL happen to every other state who gets weighed down with the burden of taking care of people who don't belong here.

All California has to do is go ahead and legalize marijuana and their troubles will be over.

End illegal immigration and chain migration and implement E-Verify. State in the black.

Issue school vouchers for 25% less per student than what the state's paying now and let parents send their kids to whatever schools they want private or public. State in the black.

It's easy to get California out of the red and into the black. Nobody seems to want to is all.

I agree, and the first step is to require all illegals to register with the Federal Government. Offer them the carrot that a few will be allowed to stay, but none who do not register within 90 days.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Leo

You'll be action-oriented today, Leo. If truth be told, intense physical activity has the ability to soothe you much more than frenzied mental exercise. Invitations to madness are the wrong thing for you, but they are tempting nonetheless. Dig in your heels and do what you know you have to do. When driving this evening, take extra care.
