Any of you reading this that feel you are at the end of your rope do us a favor and only take yourself out. If he was in business he should have had life insurance and his wife and kid could have gone on successfully. There are man other alternatives.

Geez! So much death lately! OK, you have serious problems. OK, you've been done wrong. Bad enough to take your own life, but at least you've given your own judgement. Let others make their own path. Let a child grow to adulthood. Is there really ever anything so bad that you would let your hate boil over to take another persons life? And a child????

I have a nine year old-this makes me so sad. I pray God's grace on the relatives. God is our hope and strength, He can sustain us when we seemingly reach to the end of our rope. Don't give up God is there.

Read your policies. Some policies will pay out if the suicide is not committed within the first two years that the policy was issued. If it is you only generally get back the premiums that were paid for those two years. My brother in law killed himself and the family did receive the insurance proceeds.

I don't care how bad you think your life is... nothing justifies killing another person, especially a child.

I just don't understand how a parent can plan the killing of their child, which he apparently did since warning letters were received. How bad do things have to be that you feel the best option is to kill your entire family? My condolences to the family.

Truly a tragic situation. Thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult period. I cannot fathom what despair one must be going through to justify the reasons for ending the life of a 9 year old. There's no excuse for this.
